Palm Wings Kusadasi Beach Resort&Spa

Visited Palm Wings Beach Resort for a week in October 2023 with my partner. Out of season, however we still had an enjoyable experience. Hotel itself was lovely, clean and well maintained. In short - main reason for 3/5 is mainly due to the extremely poor and disappointing entertainment & animation team, and the somewhat mediocre food served. Room: We had a regular room was always cleaned every day by the cleaners, who always said hello every morning. We was very lucky to have a stunning sea-view where we watched the sun set most nights. HOWEVER - Our door looked to have been kicked in previously and fixed on the cheap - this concerned us a little but still locked. Staff: The staff at the hotel were mostly extremely friendly and helpful - however some were notably miserable and few bar staff were rude at times. I heard a few couples complain about them during our stay. Hotel: The hotel was lovely and clean and the green areas were watered daily. Pool area was nice however blasted loud music during most of the day - which was okay however repeated the same music. The hotel had a kids area and slides, which looked quite good. Food & drinks: Food was a bit hit & miss. I did enjoy a lot of the food however I did notice that some nights the chicken was quite pink - my partner didn’t want to eat some meats as she was pregnant at the time of travel & didn’t want to take any risks. The grill was nice most nights however did not even see it until 5 days in as it was very tucked away from the rest of the food buffet. Deserts were very nice & baklava was so gorgeous! Drinks were ok - but cocktails were watered down, but that’s to be expected. ‘Entertainment’: The entertainment was honestly abysmal and is the main reason for 3/5. Don’t get me wrong, for a few nights we had really good entertainment - especially the African dancers and Turkish night. However to say a RAFFLE is entertainment for one night is a joke. This happened twice and these raffle tickets are sold at 10 euro for 2. For the prises too, this is a rip off. Since the raffle ‘entertainment’ we skipped watching it half-way through the holiday and instead played in the games room - which was very good! The entertainment team was also quite rubbish. I understand that it was close to closing period (Nov-Jan I think), they did not seem bothered and put 0 effort into encouraging people to get involved! ALSO - NO DAYTIME ENTERTAINMENT APART FROM DARTS! On the TUI website, we was told water sports - netball, water aerobics etc but none of this happened. Was very disappointed with this and left us with a ‘nothing to do’ feeling in the evenings after food. OVERALL - We did not regret this holiday as we did enjoy it, however we’re left disappointed by the entertainment & average food.

(Good points) The hotel was very clean are room was lovey. staff where great nothing was to much trouble for them. The pool entertainment and night time entertainment was very good. The pool snack bar was good food there was ok (Bad points) The food in the main restaurant was only warm could be a health risk should have been a lot hotter. Wine was not very nice. I had to ask for the bedding to be changed.

Very nice hotel and staff very friendly and always working hard. They were so helpful and polite making you feel welcomed. All staff been absolutely briliant. We were impressed with the cleanliness of the whole resort. Thank you to all the staff and particularly to Sevdiye Toprak who made sure our room was always spotless and made us feel so special with her creativity when made up our bed. Also she was very friendly, smiling contagiously every morning. Overall everything was very good., but only downside that our room was in the sade ( i’m always cold). Will definetely recommend it!

Entertainment staff were amazing made it very enjoyable. The food was also very good and the live shows were very good. The pool was very nice to cool down in and they provided towels wich was very useful. Overall my experience here was fabulous.

Amazing hotel, the food is great, environment and welcome itself was amazing and the animation team are great ! Romeo makes you feel so welcome really really lovely ! Great place really enjoying my time here so far would definitely come back here !

Great place to be great place for couples to go on a romantic holiday staff and excellent very happy and always around to help u out if need be speak all different languages so they will be able to talk to u not matter what book and holiday now u won’t regret it

Absolutely amazing, the entertainment team are brilliant always encouraging to join in and ensure you feel induced in everything. The shows in the evening are the best I’ve ever seen. The food is amazing always a huge choice and will never go hungry as always able to grab a bite until mid-night. Special shout out to Romeo and Gigi who have been amazing and very welcoming the whole trip I will definitely be returning, this is the definition of paradise.

Just spent a week here from the 4th of may and thought I'd share my honest opinions. We're a family of 4 2 kids ages 5 and 6. We had a great time this place is amazing don't be put off on the drive in it seems as though its in the middle of no where and the area around is a little bit run down but don't worry. The hotel has its own private beach which is well looked after with plenty of beds and umbrellas which are free to use for hotel guests. Never had a problem with getting a bed anywhere same with the pool loads of beds. This is a great place to go if you like cats and dogs haha loads of strays about most of them super friendly the kids love cats so this was never an issue they do hang around during lunch times so just be wary. The dogs didn't seem to come to the hotel but they were occasionally on the beach. Now onto the food breakfast was very okay. Not loads of choice but there's enough there to get you by. For lunch we always used the snack bar this just worked better for us it's table service and there's ice cream. We did try the lunch buffet but it was very much like dinner. Now dinner was really good. They have this section which I've included in the pictures of this guy with a different meat every day with different sauces. This was by far the best food on offer. Lots of different choices around quite a bit of Turkish food aswell which was nice . The drink selection is where this places shines though. They actually sell actual branded drinks such as coke sprite and Fanta. The cocktails are really good too I really recommend the rooftop bar for cocktails . Never had this type of service before from an all inclusive the effort the roof top bar put into the cocktails is amazing better than many cocktail bars I've been to in fact. The bar by the stage was also amazing the guy who did the evening shift I think his name was Emrecas he was amazing. By the end of our holiday we'd walk to the bar and he'd have our drink order memorised and he'd bring it to our table if it was quiet. He deserves a pay rise he was awesome. There isn't much to do around hotel there's a bazaar a short walk away but I recommend going into town and doing some excursions we used sun travel and everything we did have transfers included. There's a bit of a language barrier with some of the staff just be wary of this can be a bit hard communicating sometimes. Entertainment is quite good there was a mini disco every night and usually a show . We saw the Ethiopian circus and a magic show whilst we stayed both very good shows. One thing I didn't like was the smoking rules. We are non smokers and it seems like smoking was allowed everywhere. We'd be sat at the snack bar which is outside and the people would just be sat around smoking right by our kids which we didn't like. I was in the toilet once and there was just a guy smoking inside. It's a different culture I guess so won't knock any stars off for this it's a shame though can ruin some outside meal times . Ov

Relaxed, peaceful, staff willingness to help. Only down side was the breakfast and dinner in the restaurant (was always cold) because the meals are prepared 1 hour before serving and thrn the lids are left off. Loved that we were amongst different nationalities.
