The room was very lighting, big and beautiful views at night. Very clean and the staff was so so helpful. They helped us to book a taxi to go to The Hanging temple and buy tickets. Totally recommended. We will come back. The manager was so friendly.

The location is good, relatively close to the ancient city. A taxi only costs 7 yuan, which is very convenient. There are convenience stores downstairs and takeaways can be delivered to the door. The room is large and clean, with good light, many sockets, warm quilts, disposable bath towels, razors, shower caps, toothbrushes, toothpaste and combs, and two bottles of mineral water! ! ! The lady at the front desk was very nice. She asked if I needed to replenish supplies and clean the room the next day. I said I had run out of paper towels, so she replenished a full set and brought me two bottles of water. It was great, very cost-effective, and the sound insulation was also good! ! ! 

I stayed one night at the hotel. I was visiting Datong. I arrived early and asked front desk if I could leave my suitcase whilst I did some sightseeing. The front desk staff told me I could check into my room. The young lady who assisted me spoke some English. She also helped me with booking tickets to visit the Yungang Grottes. My room rate included breakfast which had a wide choice of items. The room I had (1212) was spotlessly clean and had a view towards the old walls. I would highly recommend this hotel for a tourist visit.

The hotel has complete facilities and relatively new decoration. The rooms are spacious and bright, clean and tidy. The girl at the front desk and the security guard are very friendly and helpful. They even upgraded our room for free. The overall check-in experience for a family of six is ​​very good. The breakfast is rich in varieties, especially Datong's special sliced ​​noodles and haggis taste great! It's a pity that this trip to Datong is only for one night. If I stay for one more day, I will continue to stay! Will choose this hotel again in the future!

Fantastic service, friendly, helpful, very clean and spacious rooms, really nice view over the river and at night with all of the lights. Breakfast is good, the facilities are clean and presentable. The room was quiet and the window can be opened if you want fresh air or to cool down the room a bit, the ac works too to cool it down in winter but that’s recirculated air with some people smoking in non-smoking rooms (typical). Our room did not smell which was great and although we had neighbours we could not hear them, so good for light sleepers. Only downside is the bed is firm. Quick 10 minute didi to the ancient city, malls, delicious lunch and food places. The hotel organised a driver to take us to the hanging temple, yungang grottoes and then to a delicious local restaurant very affordable, helpful, reliable and kind driver (WeChat: 永恒). Also recommend going to the art gallery and museum only 10 mins away. It’s a good location.

The hotel is located in the city center, with convenient transportation. It is very close to the southeast and east entrances of the ancient city, about one kilometer away. The room supply was tight during the Spring Festival holiday. I stayed in a standard twin room with complete tables, chairs and sofas. The room was compact. Although the room was not too big, it was still more spacious than a king-size bed room. The itinerary changed and I only stayed for one day. The overall service was good, the hygiene was clean and tidy. I asked the waiter for two bottles of purified water the next day after it ran out. I checked out at noon in advance and delayed it by half an hour. In terms of price, if it is not during the holidays, it should be said that the price-performance ratio is ok. The overall rating is 4.6.

It is not far from the ancient city wall, and it is very convenient to take a taxi.

Stayed here 3 nights with my family. The hotel is close to the high speed railway station. The guest room is well appointed and comfortable. Cleanliness can do better, there was mold in the bathroom. The bell staff service was lacking, our request to arrange for transport to the Train station on the day of our departure was denied The bell hop asked us t make our own arrangements Other than that, all good during our stay. We would like to make special mention to their Front Office manager, Mr Yang whom we had the pleasure to meet on the first day when we checked in. When he found out that we required a driver and a guide to bring around us to explore Datong, Mr Yang quickly made the arrangement at a reasonable price. He even arranged for the Chinese Restaurant to serve us lunch when he heard that we needed lunch. Lunch at the restaurant was good and we continued to patronise thoroughout our stay. We must compliment the great service rendered by all day dining and Chinese restaurant service teams. Thank you, once again to Mr Yang for going his extra mile to serve us. Your hospitality made our stay at Yungang Hotel so memorable.
