The owner's elegance and sense of fun are evident. The enthusiastic young man who arrived early to pick us up at the airport, the sweet smile and warm greeting from the front desk lady every day, the thoughtful drinks and snacks delivered to our rooms after we arrived late, and the fresh fruit and snacks quietly placed by our bedside every day—all of this added an unforgettable touch of warmth and relaxation to our Datong trip. The ”Nine-grid” breakfast here is a highlight: Almost every local Datong snack is available, and desserts from internet-famous restaurants appear in the buffet area in a new twist every day. The soy milk is freshly ground and cooked. When I left the B&B, the owner personally saw me off to the station, and we chatted for 20 minutes (it couldn't be helped; the B&B is so close to the high-speed rail station). This young man loves his hometown and has unique insights and ideas about hotel management. He puts his guests' minds at ease and pays attention to every detail.
