We booked online through *******, and when we went to check in, Michelle told us to wait 20 minutes because it wasn’t directly through them.
We went to the side and waited. No one came back to check on us, so I went back to the counter. Berlin was working the counter then and checked us in without any issues.
The whole process was just unusual, I don’t know who was timing what. I’m confident Michelle just needed time to finish her convo with a coworker before helping us.
The room itself was decent, although the hot water didn’t work in the shower. Not sure if I would stay here again.

The property itself was really nice. I loved the modern artsy vibe. The real issue began on our first night. We had no hot water and our glasses in the room had lipstick on them. We spoke to the staff the following morning and let them know we didn’t have hot water the night prior and the following morning as well. We also informed them of the dirty glasses. We were assured they’d fix the hot water issue and provide clean glasses. We attempt to take a shower the following day and still no hot water and the same dirty glasses. We report the issue once again and were told they’d move us rooms once we got back from our excursion. We were told we had no hot water due to us being on the empty side of the hotel. We come back to the hotel a few hours and were told we have no other rooms available we were more then welcome to look for another hotel. We go to our room and talk about it and decided we had booked the hotel for the VIP party for NYE not to mention we spent over $200 a ticket for the even, we should stay. I call and ask for the manager and he tells me oh wait we had lots of cancellations we can move you. Brings us a cart to the room and just leaves the cart with 2 keys. No hey I’m sorry or anything. Then rolls his eyes. Really horrible customer service which sucks cus the hotel was cute. Will not be returning

Cute, quirky, modern. Mostly welcoming staff, though first impression was marred by valets who told our driver to move along despite the fact that he was just dropping us off and there were no other cars in sight.

The Lorenzo is one ofy go-to hotels when I visit Dallas. Always clean, check-in easy and convenient to places I'm visiting. Will be back

The hotel was nice and artsy. The room we stayed in was facing the highway and you could hear the traffic passing but the bed was comfy and we slept good. The description states that there are 3 bars onsite when in fact there was only one. The 2nd one is the pool bar and is only open during summer. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay again.
