Friendly staff, great service, evening happy hour with beer and wine, grab and go breakfast - or- great hot breakfast items. This facility has a LOT going for it. The rooms are clean large and well appointed as well. We were on the road most of the day and this stop was just a wonderful break between DFW area and destination in Colorado.

I passed here when I went skiing in Colorado. The hotel is right on the highway, which is very convenient. It looks like a motel, but it is very comfortable and the sound of the air conditioner is acceptable. What is surprising is that the breakfast is more generous than usual, and the room number is also recorded. Overall satisfied.

We’ve started staying in Boise City instead of Dumas on our way to visit family because of the smell of cows that pervades Dumas. The Townsman may be the only motel in town, but their prices are very attractive and the rooms are exceptionally clean, which is a pleasant contrast to many other major brand places we’ve stayed over the past few years. Check your maps - Boise City isn’t actually as out of the way as you might think and you’ll be avoiding the backups that come from following the same routes that everyone else is driving. The Townsman is another reason to take the road less traveled.
