This was our fifth visit to this hotel and once again it has not disappointed. The location is perfect the staff wonderful and the rooms spacious and clean. We never run out of choices in the restaurant regardless of time. Having premium branded drinks throughout the day is a plus. The only slight disappointment was the food in the speciality restaurant- Stromboli was not as good as in the buffet restaurant.

This was our 2nd visit to this well run, beautifully serviced and food and drink in abundance hotel and exceeded expectation! Check in was a little longer than expected due to the fact we are H10 club members and our information had to be updated on the system. That said, it was aquired with a cold glass of cava in my hand and a friendly persona at front of house so all was good! We were upgraded to a fantastic full Seaview room with extra little touches (turn down service, bathrobes /slippers and bottle of wine /cava for room and welcome gift of delicious chocolates) just for being a club member! This was a fantastic treat which for us, means a lot. Everyone we encountered in the hotel was friendly, happy and obliging. ALL services were to a high standard as well as fantastic choice of food at mealtimes and branded drinks package. The oWe would especially like to mention the ladies that cleaned the blue bar area every afternoon. The attention to detail was fantastic with no table or chairleg left unwashed. They could certainly teach our hotel industry a lot! We had the most memorable time for all of the right reasons with a beautiful beach too We will return in the near future to sample some more of your canarian hospitality! Thank you.

This is my second stay this year and have enjoyed my stay in previous years. The Staff and Management are always friendly and polite, willing to go the extra mile in being helpful that makes one feel very welcome. The Rooms are spotless and cleaned daily and so are the grounds that offer all the facilities to enjoy one's stay. The food is cooked to a delight with a varied choice. The Hotel has been very busy of Guests during my stay in December which shows how popular it is and enjoyed by all. Gracias H10 Playa Esmeralda in sunny Costa Calma Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year Look forward to seeing you again in May 2025

Everything has been lovely.. apart from the service. I know it’s out of season but I don’t think that should count for actually blatantly being avoided or ignored by staff. Only once we were actually served at the dinner table by a polite lovely woman which made us realise ‘oh there actually is service’. Just very disappointed to have paid this amount of money for all inclusive to just have such bad service. Only Prosecco served upon entrance to hotel to certain few. Only table set for certain favourites. 1 bottle of water given in the hotel for the stay (would have thought with all inclusive you’d have a bottle a day). Pretty boring cocktail list and all either pre made or just a bit rubbish. No explanation of what times breakfast/lunch/dinner was. Not even explained how our wristbands worked (to open our door). Just didnt seem cared for. Music around the pool would have been nice, it’s very quiet which is lovely but just some in the bar or I dunno.. maybe this hotel should just be aimed for miserable people over 60 cos my goodness the amount of tuts and head shakes I received when in my bikini or evening outfits not sure if it’s jealousy of my youth at 30 or the tattoos but my goodness i got made to feel so uncomfortable in my own skin. Just overall very disappointed

Excellent spacious hotel , good food , comfort and service . Would return . Only negatives but insignificant compared to positives . 1. Shower in room difficult and awkward to operate . Causes lots of laughs though . 2 . Hardly any information notices around the hotel. Access to entertainment and activity details only available from the QR coding on all tables etc . Fine if happy with smart phone . 3. Access to beach from hotel a little difficult for anyone with mobility issues . Room key required for reentry . However , I emphasise , don’t be put off by these minor items and fully endorse the many other positive reviews .

Something has changed . The hotel itself is still great and the rooms are fantastic. Very clean and tidy as always . The food was not so good this time as it was very bland and repetitive and the staff generally look stressed and fed up as I suppose we all would working 20 hour shifts!!!! Which were confirmed by several staff. I'd particularly like to single out the bar manager Giovanni who I can politely refer to as rude. Brushed my wife away from the bar with hand gestures for no apparent reason. We went as far as to raise his attitude to the PR in the hotel but didn't get anywhere. We just tried to avoid him after that. Shame too because it did sour our stay. We would definitely have to think long and hard about staying here again after 4 previous stays.

Fantastic hotel. Great location. All the staff are cheerful and assertive. Very hard working. We were in room 2414, lovely sea view. Rooms are ideal, fridge, Coffee maker. Bathroom includes, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion, robes and slippers. This was our 5th visit to Edmeralda. It's a great place to de-stress. Take advantage of the visit to Stromboli restaurant, beautiful italian food
