The service staff was friendly and the accommodation was very good. The hotel also provides bathrobes and disposable slippers. Not too far from the Cork Center. Compared to the four-star hotel of the same price I stayed near Dublin Airport, all aspects are much better. Unfortunately, time is tight and there is no free pool and sauna to enjoy.

This hotel has history, and it stands out among hotels in its price range. Every detail has been carefully curated, and it's possible to feel that you are in a grand hotel in a grand city. One of us uses a cane and has visible trouble walking. On check-in, it was probably too late to move us to a room that does not require navigating stairs. However, in the breakfast room, we were given a table down several steps, even though there were at least a dozen free tables on the floor level. Again, this area is beautifully decorated, including a round table with attractive and impractical boxed supports that make it impossible to sit comfortably. Each hotel has to work out how to serve breakfast economically while providing an excellent experience for the guests. The ”bird cage” high tea type assortment used at the Imperial must mean they discard items that guests have not selected. Although this property would be among the first we'd consider on a return visit, we would not choose the breakfast option.

I was cautious when booking as recent reviews were so bad. However, I took a chance as it was for one night and the location was perfect for me. I had a good experience with this hotel. All the staff I interacted with were friendly and helpful, day and night staff. Great location with cafés, restaurants and entertainment in walking distance. I had a good size room with a large bathroom (with a bath). The decor is dated, but bedroom was spotless, the bed was clean and comfy and felt very safe as the door had a double lock. The bathroom a little ”scruffy”, but no mould or insects and yes, you could hear my ”neighbours” up chatting late in the night. Overall a pleasant experience.

I got a room with a window facing the in-door atrium, which meant not having a window with daylight. For the price I paid, I would expect to have a room with a window with daylight.
Spa was not clean and I didn't enjoy it at all. Breakfast was not good either. I won't stay with Clayton again.

Rachel at reception saved our vacation to Cork! Upon arrival to Cork, our airbnb had visible mold and smelled of mildew. Even though the Jury's Inn was fully booked, she helped us try to find a new location. After spending time in your lobby, Rachel rushed out to tell us there was a cancelation! Not only did she help us get a room, she provided complimentary drinks for ”our rough day”. I can't say enough good things about how caring Rachel was through the entire process. Thank you Rachel and Jury's Inn!

It was a wonderful Victorian-style hotel. The hotel was remodeled from a former hospital building, and it has luxurious spaces. The rooms were clean and spacious, of course. The bathrooms were also of a high standard. It was impressive that they eliminated the bathtub to save water consumption in order to maintain the sustainability that the hotel aims for. I hope it will continue to develop as a good accommodation.

On the positive side, the hotel is easy to reach from the airport, the rooms are large and beds comfortable. The breakfasts are generally of a good standard with a interesting selection. We were able to park easily. Staff friendly and helpful. The areas for us that could have been improved would include the breakfast system for having eggs cooked freshly, as most people abandoned the idea when being told there were many orders waiting to be cooked, so there would be a fair wait. Our room faced West, so by the end of a hot summer’s day, the room was also well warmed! The aircon setting of 19 degrees was hopeless in bringing the temperature down quickly and effectively, and the window only opened a tiny bit. We are still waiting for someone to explain to us why hotels still have winter weight quilts on beds in the summer…we seem to spend more time sleeping on them than under them!!!! Unfortunately this hotel is probably not an option for those on a limited budget.

Great location to visit the wildlife park but it’s not walkable. Room was lovely. It had everything we needed. Peaceful nights sleep too. You have to pre book the leisure club and children are only allowed at certain times meaning we missed out in the morning as my 13yr old wasn’t allowed in until 9am but we had to leave then.
Breakfast: Choice of food was amazing. Absolutely everything on offer. We were a bit rushed because we had the titanic experience booked so had to be punctual. We had to chase up the toast 3 times. It was the only thing my son would eat so couldn’t let it slide. Then it arrived stone cold so they apologised and redid it for him.
Overall it was a lovely hotel and included some nice touches like Lily O”Brien chocolates in the room, a coffee maker and free bottle of wine for Deluxe rooms. Turn down service was a welcome surprise too.

GGuest UserThe Montenotee hotel is an experience of its own , fantastic views over the city , amazing interior design, delicious food and professional staff .. The glasshouse is superb with quality cocktails and surroundings. Highly recommend.
From the moment I stepped in the front door I was greeted with charming & friendly staff. The décor is so beautiful and inviting. I had the pleasure of being served some tantalising cocktails in the rooftop bar by a handsome young man named Oscar. His spicy margarita was nearly as hot as him. The bedroom was stunning as we had a corner sweet and I slept like a baby. Will definitely return!
GGuest UserThe receptionist a mature lady ensured from the minute we arrived that all would go well even if we were English. She helped my wife with the local Pharmacy (thank you). The hotel has ample parking. Parts of the hotel actually have an interesting Irish Rail history as well. The hotel is right next to a decent high street 5minute walk away. They also served Murphy's in the bar! The room was good but it was the history inside the hotel and the conversion of the Railway bridge into a drinking area very novel. Breakfast was very good and competative no complaints from me Irish Breakfast same as an English to me! Would we stay there again yes we are planning to again next year. Iy is only a 45min drive drom Cork airport.
GGuest UserThe hotel was really lovely, great location and staff. The only problem I could find with the hotel was the breakfast, I had a full irish breakfast every morning at a few different times and it was always too dry. I think the hotel must prepare many, keep them under heat lamps and then just add a freshly cooked egg when they are ordered.
GGuest UserI am in love with their bed!! It’s the best I’ve ever slept on. So in love, I had to investigate to find out who makes their bed: it’s by the natural sleep company. I slept deliciously and I will now get a bed like that for my home.
The employees were quite kind and helpful too.
Clearly, from the bed alone, they invest in quality. It’s a gorgeous building and exquisitely maintained with a magnificent old world charm. I hope this gem lasts for ages and doesn’t succumb to the boring, overly modern, cookie cutter trope a lot of hotels have fallen into.
I will return for sure.
Very disappointed with our stay here ... we went for the midterm family break which was advertised with an activity pack and treats for kids on arrival. Did not get either on arrival. Also not given any information about kids club or leisre centre opening times.yous also advertised a family meal deal that when we asked at the bar for the menu for the deal they said sorry wasn't available. We then went up to reception to ask about this deal and they said yes it was on so they rang down to the bar and miraculously was then available... but I honestly think they ran over to lidl across the road and got some frozen platter food which was absolutely terrible the bar staff all looked so miserable were rude and not very welcoming and we felt like we were a hindrance on both nights we went there for food.... hotel is filthy carpet outside our room looked like somebody puked on it. Also went down for breakfast at 9.45 to find there was no food left restaurant staff did however manage to get some food put on for us ... breakfast on both mornings was actually decent nice breakfast big difference between bar staff and restaurant staff the later being alot more polite and only decent thing about this hotel was the warm pool ..... would not recommend this hotel to anyone with children it was a miserable experience
This is supposedly a three star hotel, but I have stayed in much better two stars. The location is good and the view of the river is nice, but it is very scruffy and grubby in areas. The room was a reasonable size, but the bed did not feel very comfortable. We had a nice view, but it was quite noisy as we could hear voices quite a lot from possibly the room next door. The bathroom size was okay, but there was nowhere to put wash bags or toiletries. I had to put them in the shelving unit outside of the bathroom. The shower was over the bath. The tiling on the walls looks like it has been done quite recently but the grouting all along the edge of the bath is in a very bad way and needs attention. There was also a large greasy hand mark on the wall above the bed that was easily visible in certain light. The bedroom was not serviced on the day in between our two nights there. We don’t mind this but we weren’t told so we weren’t quite sure whether it was going to happen or not. The bins did get rather full. There was no decaf coffee available for the room even though it is available at breakfast. This was the first hotel in 10 on this holiday that we have not been able to get it. The public areas are very, scruffy and grubby looking. All it was take on stairs would be a coat of paint on the banisters and some repair work to the wooden knob at the bottom and that would help. The carpets looked quite dirty as well. See photos. Breakfast was reasonable and there was quite a bit of choice. However, things were all served in a slightly random order. We asked for our bacon to be very well done, but it was extremely under done. It would be helpful if sauces etc were kept at the table rather than having to keep asking for them. The staff on the whole were friendly and helpful. Interestingly all the other hotels I have booked on this tour offered a 100% refund a few days before the day if necessary. This hotel only offers 50% regardless of the reason or timeframe.
I was on business visiting one of my companies sites on Little Island, Cork. The whole experience from check on Monday through to check out on Wednesday was excellent. The high level of service starting with the staff from reception, the coffee stand and restaurant bar were polite, efficient and helpful. In particular, the mercurial Paudi behind the bar - he made the stay even more enjoyable with his wit and conversations that we had. I am recommending this hotel to others, including to myself as I will be returning to Cork every other month and I will be booking into The Radisson Blu and next time using the SPA & other Leisure facilities. It was my pleasure to stay at this hotel. Thanks to all the staff I encountered during my stay. Narinder
GGuest UserI have just check out yesterday and the hotel is lovely and the lobby is beautiful will a lot of space to take a seat and relax. This hotel also has no shortage of car parking spaces surrounding the building. We had booked a interconnecting room for 5 Ladies which is ideal for friends going for a night away. We had arrived before check in not expecting our rooms to be ready but to just leave our cars and head into town. The gentleman on reception was fantastic ( I'm so sorry for not remembering his name) he was able to check us in to one of our rooms early and send up a few drinks for us which was amazing and really set our stay up the right way. he also gave us great recommendations for food and drinks in the city which really helped. The rooms where spotless and we had nothing to complain about here. The beds are very comfortable. I also liked that the bathrooms have the bath and shower separate. the rooms are very quiet also which helped with getting some sleep. The breakfast was the only thing I would say was only ok. The only option for hot breakfast was Porridge or Full Irish which I thought was a bit limited. With it still being table service in this hotel, which I don't have a problem with, the server we had had forgot one or two things we asked for and we had to ask again. Some items we then received some we didn't. This still would not stop me from staying again. We had a very fun, comfortable, easy, friendly stay here and I would recommend this hotel to friends/family.
The experience from entering reception to departure was second to none. Yes there are fancier hotels but your establishment had something special. staff were friendly, helpful and excellent to deal with. I had a super hot plate of lamb in your bar washed down with two nice beers. Rooms were comfortable clean and quiet. Breakfast at 7.00 was just what I needed for the day ahead. I hope to be back again as I pass through Mallow. Thank you for upholding the small family hotel experience.
