Maspalomas Princess

Just a few days relax at this lovely resort hotel - delivered everything we hoped for and more. The room was lovely and spacious with two large beds, excellent clothing space, a great TV with english channels seating area, great balcony overlooking the pool and gardens and a more than adequate bathroom. Towels were provided and changed to order and also given for taking onto sunbeds with changes available every couple of days. The outside area was spacious, with areas for children and areas that were child free. Several pools were nicely warm with Lifeguard patrols and the sunbeds were plentiful with lots of tree shade and sunshades. Rule in force against pre placing of towels before 10am and it worked a treat. Also liked the no smoking rules that meant the bathing areas were smoke free whilst points were provided to smoke for those that needed to. A big +. Food in the main restaurant was plentiful, varied, well presented and very satisfying. Smaller snack bars were still good quality. All inclusive operated at two levels - one with inclusion of the basic core drinks including local alcohols, and a higher fee for branded alcohols. We found the lower level perfectly adeqaute. It is a big complex - maybe slightly impersonal - but it provided everything we could have wished for and gave us a very relaxing few days.

Stayed for 10 nights in April went for wedding anniversary and was perfect for us.The hotel was lovely and clean the staff all pleasant.The room was great with the best views ever.Food and drink we couldn’t complain with.To top it off weather was fantastic.Definitely recommend this hotel and wouldn’t hesitate to go back.

Good points Some nice sitting areas. fair choice in restaurant . Entertainment some nights. Nice adult only pool and bar. Bad points, adult only bar shuts at 6pm no tea and coffee in rooms and a very long walk to pool bar for coffee and cold by the time your back. Food was often luke warm and undercooked and restaurant understaffed so messy tables. Felt like we were in a cattle market at times. Family pools weren’t cleaned enough so green algae on tiles. We didn’t get one good nights sleep, I think they should try to separate older couples in rooms from young families for a little peace and quiet. If you like Wetherspoons toilets this is the place for you, a long walk! Room need refurbishing as very tired looking. Premium brand drink supplements very pricey and meagre . Not sure how this hotel got a 4 star. Wouldn’t go back

This hotel is absolutely amazing for families. The pools are incredible for little ones up to teens; slides and chutes for all ages and larger pools for swimming. The evening entertainment is incredible; there are professional shows and something different is on every night. ALL staff are kind and friendly and everywhere is clean. The hotel is immaculate. The choice of food is brilliant; even fussy eaters will manage to find a range of things they will enjoy. There’s an arcade, little shop, and pharmacy all on site. Plenty of bars and outside spaces to enjoy. One of the best hotels we have ever stayed in.

This hotel is one of the best I’ve ever stayed in. The staff are very attentive and friendly. They can’t do enough for you. The food is amazing! So much choice and many healthy options. The room/hotel does not provide and iron but that didn’t dampen our stay. The pool area is clean and there are so many bars/restaurants dotted around and they are always fully stocked. The hotel has ample amount of chairs and sun beds so no fear of missing out here. Would I stay here again? Yes I would and I would recommend it for couples and families.

Our stay at the maspalomas Princess was a highlight of our incredible trip to Maspalomas! The hotel offered luxurious comfort with its stunning pool and excellent amenities, perfectly complementing our days spent exploring the picturesque dunes and relaxing on the pristine beaches. Evening walks to the nearby Maspalomas Lighthouse provided breathtaking sunset views. The seafood paella at a beachfront restaurant was particularly memorable. The Maspalomas Princess proved to be an ideal base for both relaxation and adventure. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a top-notch experience in Maspalomas!

The junior Suite was great - clean, modern and a huge size. Same with the bathroom. My only negative of the stay is that the fan/ac unit in the room was not very powerful. Lots of amenities left available in the bathroom. Food was great, something for everyone and always something available throughout the day. Lots of choices in the buffet restaraunt and never any queues to go in. The hotel is huge but never felt too busy or crowded in a particular area. The staff were all friendly and attentive. Really good hotel that exceeded my expectations. We will be back!

This hotel truly does deserve 5 stars, I absolutely love everything about this hotel. My friend and I have just returned from a very pleasant 7 night stay. I have already booked to return in April 2025 and absolutely cannot wait. My friend and I booked a standard twin room on the ground floor on the Maspalomas side, rooms were a decent size, very clean and had a nice balcony facing the pool. Housekeeping came in every day to change the beds and towels at your request. The staff are super friendly and very helpful, you can see they are very organised in every department, whether it's in the Restaurant, Housekeeping or the Animation Team, they all work very hard and always ensure guests are happy. When in the restaurant, staff are making sure the food is consistently presented nicely and tidy, wiping down the food area often to keep it clean. The tables are often monitored by waiters, relaying tables when required. Staff always seem happy when interacting with guests, I never once came across a rude member of staff. The food is incredible, one of the best parts of this hotel for me is the food. There is a huge variety in the Food Market, which is the main buffet area, there is something for everyone and all so beautifully presented. I was actually blown away by the presentation. It can get busy with many families in the food market, however it really doesn't stop you from getting want you want. The wait time for hot food was never too long so don't be put off by many people walking around. Every evening the theme of the buffet food is changed. In addition to the Food Market where the buffet is located, there are two other restaurants you can book, one is an Italian the other is Asian. You can only make 1 reservation at each restaurant if you are staying for more than 5 nights, I thoroughly enjoyed both restaurants, although my preference was the Italian. The Animation Team deserve alot of credit, they are alot of fun and love entertaining the kids and ensure everyone is involved. There is plenty of activities throughout the day for both children and adults, its worth downloading the Princess app to view the schedule for each day. The evening entertainment shows are approximately 45 mins and are quite varied in the theatre which was nice, ranging from a Michael jackson night to acrobatics. To give an idea on day activities, Yoga, AquaGym, Archery, Foam Party & Water Olympics. The Princess Gym and Spa is available to guests, the gym is free but the Spa comes with a fee, the app also allows you to book treatments and view the price of each. The Gym has very good equipment and includes everything you need. Overall I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and cannot wait to return, thank you so much to all the staff who work hard to make the hotel as wonderful as it is, you all truly deserve alot of credit. The hotel exceeded our expectations, very clean throughout, the rooms were large and comfortable. Reception staff were very helpful. Self service drinks meant very little queues at the bar. Adults only pool and bar was a nice touch but perhaps there could be an adults only section in the dining room. The food market food was excellent with plenty of choice, the speciality restaurants were buffet style, again the food was excellent, however on the night we used the Asian restaurant there were no staff at all in there so tables did not get cleared. Hopefully that was a one off. Overall an excellent holiday
