Embassy Suites by Hilton Baltimore Hunt Valley

The hotel is very clean. The room was very clean. The staff was a delight. The digital key worked perfectly. Breakfast was AMAZING! It was popcorn day so the staff offered bags of popcorn which was a kind gesture. This location has become my go to place whenever I am in the area.

Forget any bad reviews of this property! They have since completely renovated the rooms and are about to further renovate the lobby restaurant which is currently open for coffee and breakfast. The staff told me they will be adding more food options for dinner soon. I got great Sushi for dinner at the Wegmans just across the road. I stayed at this hotel years ago and loved it, as it's and tucked back from the roads in a nice greenspace with trees. What's great about these Old School Courtyards is they have actual balconies surrounding a nicely landscaped courtyard with a firepit and sitting area. These particular Courtyards are well built and not made of ”cardboard” like so many of the newer chains. I have stayed in many luxury hotels so when I have to stay in a smaller chain hotel, I try and find these ”older” Courtyards by Marriott. The staff was extremely accommodating and especially the guy (I wish I could remember his name!) when I checked in who helped me find the exact room I wanted in a specific location. I had a beautiful large tree right outside my balcony in room 340. If you want a private, peaceful stay this hotel is it. Especially for a solo traveler. Another plus is the 12:00 checkout which is rare these days.
Ramada Limited Cockeysville

I believe I am entitled to a $15 refund. On the Ramada site this property was advertised as having a pool and a continental breakfast. It wasn't until I was notified by the checkin email that the the pool was closed. And then when I was at the property, there was a sign that there was no continental breakfast. So, the 2 reasons I had picked this property were not there. The listing on the Ramada site had falsely listed amenities. I based my purchase on the amenities listed. Please refund $15, which is fair considering I had to spend more on that for breakfast even at the modest restaurant we were forced to eat at down the road.

Nice, simple and clean. Hot breakfast available! TV works properly - though the remote buttons are tough to press. Comfy bed, easy temperature adjustment, clean bathroom. The desk chair looked like it was chewed to bits, though. Their elevators are also a bit janky, but they have signs- just follow those instructions and it will be fine. Close to many places and good restaurants ! Overall, a good value!

Hampton Inn & Suites Baltimore North/Timonium, MD

Car rental is very suitable, there is Target in a few minutes, walking distance is 11-7. The restaurant is small and will feel a bit crowded. But the restaurant always has coffee and hot water supply. There are quite a few American families. There is an indoor small pool on the first floor and a well-equipped self-service laundry on the second floor. There is a seafood restaurant within walking distance and it is very popular. Going to Baltimore for half an hour and going to Washington for more than an hour, there will be differences in traffic peaks. Free parking, safe service in the room behind the front desk, a Treat Shop next to the front desk, microwave hot noodles, hot meals, spacious rooms and new equipment. It is a thoughtful hotel.
