The toilet would not flush and the shower would not drain. There was a noisy party going on in the lobby. Overall terrible experience, I would not recommend.

I booked a King size room and when we got there they gave us a card and room number that the door had a pad lock on and was a twin room. When I told the girl at the front desk she just looked at me like I was stupid and then started looking at her computer and gave us the correct key and room. Come to find out the twin room was one they rent for people to live in. There NO cold water in our room so I took scalding hot showers. There were boot marks in the bath tub along with mold. The doors were difficult to open as they were stuck and had to use our body to bust through the door. The outlet in the bathroom didn’t work, the only outlet available to use, the plug fell out of. There was one under the tv that was a multi outlet but had 5 plugs in it already. I was waiting for the place to burn down at any minute. Again, when all this was addressed to the people at the front counter they just looked at us. We stayed here because it was convenient for my health during the Sugar Festival but NEVER again will stay here. There were busted beer bottles on the ground between the hotel and “apartments” and just all around dirty. The kitchen is completely closed but the dining room was still set up. My advice, do NOT stay here!!!!

This place is disgusting, used to be very elegant. Think it should be completely rebuilt Was a waste of money, would have been better off sleeping in the truck.

After being assigned a room that had a padlock on it and another room that was not suitable for me, I went to another hotel. I would like a refund. The hotel is under remodeling and the pictures on the website had nothing to do with the conditions and the available rooms.

State of disrepair! Shower ran constantly - handy man tried to fix it but management just kept telling him to patch it. Finally agree for him to go get new part but by that time we were ready for bed and told him we would skip shower! NO coffee in room!

Check in was lengthy and uncomfortable as no A/C in lobby, They could not find my reservations, luckily I had printed out a copy of my prepaid itinerary receipt .Cold showers lumpy bed, steep stairways, no elevators, ice machines did not work,the place has deteriorated significantly since my last stay over five years ago. Trash piled up at exits building needs major renovations. Designated Boat trailer parking area not well marked to avoid blocking in by others and hookups to electricity to recharge boats not code compliant.and coming off the walls.

This could be a beautiful place, but it needs a lot of TLC, Our bathroom was full of little flying bugs. It is very noisy, people trying to open and close there room doors and the staff doing remodeling in the room next door. I will not stay here again

It was beautiful checking in! Historic and gave you a false sense you were getting a classic hotel room. That is not what you get! No phones are connected in any rooms. The toilet seat was broke. The tv didn't work. The headboard on the bed was falling on our head. Not what I paid for! I went to explain this all to the front desk and was told told she didn't know how to fix TV and no maintenance worker would be there till morning. She could move us a floor higher but I am disabled and there is no elevator so that was not an option. Doors slamming all night long. It was a waste of my money...

We were there for a fishing getaway. It was never mentioned that on Saturday night it turned into a night club with hundreds of people partying and loud music until 3am. People were parked all over the lawn. Any where you could fit a car it had one. We didn’t get any sleep and missed our fishing trip Sunday morning. The next day the premises had beer bottles and cans thrown all over the property that were still there around noon.
