This hotel is absolutely top-notch – truly the best I've ever stayed in. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming, creating a homely atmosphere that's hard to find. The rooms are spotlessly clean, and the lobby is impressively large and beautifully decorated. The breakfast offered is delightful. What really stands out is the outdoor patio - it's a fantastic space, complete with a cozy firepit and a grill, perfect for relaxing evenings. Staying here is a decision you won't regret. Plus, the hotel is surrounded by numerous dining options, adding convenience and variety to your stay. Highly recommend this place for an unforgettable experience!
in most hotels, one may stay a few days. It would be a common and pleasant experience. However, my stay at the Residence Inn was completely different. I felt like I was more than at home. The room was clean but more than clean. It felt safe and secure. The decor was modern contemporary, and the furniture was arranged symmetrically. Yes, I've stayed here before, but it just felt different. The desk personnel was very pleasant, the gentleman in the breakfast/dining area said 'good morning' each I came to breakfast. The food was well cooked and arrange in such a way to have each item. I admit my first day was a little rocky because I came down still in a sleepy mode but adjusted. Thanks again, if it's the Lord's will, you will see me again.
The staff were all very good at what they do. The food was great. Selection for evening food was awesome. Bartending service was also very professional. The pool is sufficient for cooling off. A couple of loungers to catch the afternoon sun. The gym was larger than most Hilton Harden Inn locations. Hotel was quiet. Great beds! There was a nightlight in the bathroom, which is always excellent. Nice big shower, well thought out, even with a little ledge to place your foot on when shaving legs. Excellent location, to airport and downtown. Rideshare provides easy access to most amenities in the area. This hotel has really good meeting spaces.

This establishment is Great! Kudos to the awesome staff Marva and Kozat at the front desk, Diane from house keeping... Y'all are the best and the friendliest staff ever. You've made my stay pleasant and I enjoyed staying here. Will definitely stay again! Keep up the great work. To those who look at past reviews, forget it 😊 The room is clean with all the amenities described, the staff is awesome you'll be pleasantly surprised and enjoy your stay.
A bit noisy, cleaning at 9 o'clock in the morning will knock on the door, poor health, Trip.com price is more expensive than agoda, and a deposit is required to pay at the store and then refund the reservation fee of **. Speechless
I don't like leaving negative reviews because I understand things happen. Especially when I must say Embassy Suites has been our go to hotel. Unfortunately, we are going to have to switch to a different brand. It is understandable that hotel cannot stay “brand new” however routine maintenance of the rooms should be a minimum. The past few times we have stay it has been the same thing, the rooms have been run down. If it is not a newer hotel, the Embassy brand does not seem to do just a basic job of maintenance. Our most recent stay, the room was subpar at best. The bathtub was peeling, the furniture had so may stains on them my wife pulled the sheet of the bed just to sit on it, the wall paper had ripples in it, not bubbles but ripples. To top it off, we got bit by only what we can say were beg bugs. If it was for the poor maintenance, I would chalk the beg bugs up to what happens in the hotel industry, they are bound to happen even at the most expensive of hotels however, this hotel was so poorly maintained, it is more likely they have take not measure to control this. We have noticed this trend with older Embassy Suites Hotels, usually located in predominately minority populated areas. Really sad. The staff was nice and friendly but they can’t make up for the poor room. If we would have checked in earlier, we would have demanded a refund and went somewhere else.
I must say my children an I we have been throughout our share of hotels from marriotts to hiltons to just ur regular quality and I have to say by far my kids and I have been so welcomed and just felt like we are apart of a big family ... I have to give all props to me frank at the front desk ... From my reservation overnthebphone to in person ... He is quite an amazing person and has truly made our stay wonderful thank u mr frank .. I hope to come across more employees like him.in future ...
We had a large group staying for an event at the State House steps and I can not praise the staff and Shelly enough! The rooms were clean, staff attentive and Shelly went out of her way to make sure our stay was perfect. Our group raved about the comfortable beds and cleanliness of the establishment. I would definitely recommend Staybridge Suites for your stay in Columbia.
This hotel was average at best. I stayed here with my family of five for a concert at the Colonial Life Arena. The pros: The ladies at the front during check in were very nice. Also, the rooms seemed really clean and there were plenty of towels, blankets, etc. There was also a shuttle that drove us to the concert. We found though that we could actually walk back from the concert more quickly than waiting on the shuttle. The distance to the concert venue was a plus. The cons: The biggest con is that the hotel is right beside a very busy road that is noisy all night. It's loud with traffic, but also seems to be the route that emergency vehicles take. Lots of sirens and loud engines. There are also so many street lights right outside the window that the room doesn't actually get dark even with the blackout curtains. Also, the parking is extremely tight and some of the vehicles in the parking lot just made their own spots and parked wherever they could find. So, this hotel is just average for me, but I would not recommend due to the fact that it is VERY expensive for what you get. If you are going to pay such a high price, pick a hotel that you can actually get some sleep.
