The hotel is very nice but in a disturbing position if you want to move in autonomy with public means to the city centre. The only negative thing is breakfast buffet that, in my opinion, is very but very low .... What is unfortunate because, instead, the restaurant eats very well, the quality of food is excellent as the presentation of the dishes and the cooking is always pointed ....

A perfect room for our night in Budapest! It was a 10 minute walk from the train station which was awesome after our long travel day. Very clean hotel and big room. Offered luggage storage for after we checked out and then we had the day to explore the city without lugging around suitcases.

I stayed at the Rubin Hotel for 10 days at the end of March beginning of April 2023. I’ve stayed before but for a much shorter time. I used the hotel because I’ve been having dental treatment in Budapest and the Dental Surgery is within walking distance. As a vegetarian their menu for lunch and evening meals is very limited, only one vegetarian option and disappointedly the menu doesn’t appear to change? I also think it would be a nice touch to have a kettle along with coffee and tea in the room. This appears to happen in most other hotels I’ve stayed in, especially England, perhaps understandably. The room itself was good and because the Dental Surgery made the booking on my behalf, the price was reasonable. There is a Metro reachable by foot, approx 17mins, which is handy because the hotel is a bit out of the way to central Budapest. There of course buses but I found them a bit more difficult because understandably all destinations were in Hungarian, whether the hotel could provide a useful transport map, would be beneficial.
