The first night we arrived we were placed in a room 202, right above the bar area the noise was making the floor vibrate and went on until 12.15am (not ideal with 2 young children ) then staff moving tables and chairs until 1am people screaming and shouting. Asked reception the following day for a move which they did no problem at all reception staff were very nice and helpful throughout our holiday. The following 2-3 days were then really good, until the 4th day. The amount of people arriving at the hotel was unbelievable, queues for 30 mins for a drink in the bar at night, no where to sit at meal times, no sunbeds available at the pool after 10am. One bar (3 bar staff) and restaurant to service around 1000 guests at night, when tables became free in the dining room the staff clearing the tables were so busy we ended up doing it ourselves!! Not enough staff in general, communal areas were not clean drink cups left on tables for hours on end. Loads of animation staff, not many service staff needs to be the opposite. 2 pool bars went to one on our last day and the beer pumps had ran out, staff member told me to go to the other bar instead of the barrels being replaced, the queue for this bar must have had 30 people with one staff member serving. Profit is obviously priority over service and guest satisfaction at this hotel, I will certainly not be returning and would advise people who are considering booking not to do so.

Have stayed at this Hotel before and was not disappointed with my recent stay. Greeted with a smile on arrival and request for room with walk-in shower granted straight away with the explanation that it was at the rear of the Hotel and no sea view which was fine by me. Room clean and plenty of space and comfortable bed. All inclusive meals were fine, plenty of choice but not always hot which is the way it is in Spain. Plenty of drinks options, the only down side being the coffee. Entertainment not as good as b efore. Plenty of sun beds available on the roof and pool always quiet. Would certainly recommend.

The Hotel is a bit isolated. With no exterior signage with inside. I have already filed an issue. You have to keep asking. The signaling in the corridors is null. It has to lose some star. Breakfast is not bad. But the coffee and juices of very poor quality. Room service is done late... Maybe they don't have enough staff.

This was the cheapest hotel that was close to Guadalest and Algar Waterfalls (only 30 and 15 or so minutes respectively). Inside the hotel there is also a bar. The service was outstanding - I arrived at the hotel half an hour after check-in closes by accident but (I presume the owner) Rosa called a colleague at the hotel and allowed me to enter and check-in late. I also used the wrong credit card and she was happy to help me reverse my payment and charge my other credit card (which was the one that had the insurance for the trip). The room was clean and the water pressure in the shower was very good.

This hotel is amazing, the rooms are spacious & the staff are amazing also, a big shout out to Sara, she was so helpful, the bar staff are all very pleasant, I saw that folk had written abou t staff being slow & rude but his is not the case! We will be back as we had a lovely relaxing time, I will say one negative thing about the food, it could have been hotter!

Right now Im a guest here and I need to share this awful experience I can talk with knowledge. We did visit this hotel every year since the last 5 years and we are absolutly disappointed on this visit: - Food with less quality and variety, personnal on breakfast and dinner not very friendly, looks always angry, if one food ends, no one put more or refill - Maintenance needed in different zones, pool, terraces furnitures to seat at night not in good shape - Part of terra mitica is closed and no one inform you previous your arrive, even callung previous week to check (uninformed reception) - *Terrible organization and management of one big football event guests, around 600 pax filling the hotel, we can't sleep most of the nights of our holidays because the noise and uncontroled groups, kids and teenegers - The quality of room and installations not worth anymore the very high compared to ithers 4 stars of the zone *Just 5 minutes ago happen this (unbelievable) 1. We did call 2 times to reception to ask for control of the noise (11:20 and 11:50) kids was running and screaming 2. Around midnight someone of security knocks our door...to ask WHO was borhering us ??? We cant believe the question...our answer: is not about WHO, but WHY we have all this noise at midnight...this person just say to the kids, if not go to silence, Police coming 😶 3. Reception personnal was so polite useless, they literally said dont know what to do....but tomorrow talk with some boss.... By the way we did warning since yesterday about this, and none apply actions or really listen us on reception. Summary, not recommend this hotel if u want to enjoy your holidays and be relaxed, trusting the hotel CAN manage the situations THEY. accept... This is a very beautiful hotel, the gardens and pool areas are truly spectacular, however….. There is minimal service at the pools, it is difficult to get a drink and impossible to get any food or snacks which is a great shame as they could capitalise on this. Instead you are charged for changing your pool towel during the day €2 I believe which is pointless and only makes the customer angry at the meanness of such an expensive hotel. The pools are not heated - even the heated pool doesn’t feel heated. Although there are many restaurants they are not open every day - usually only one or two are open so it’s not quite the choice it appears. The quality of the food is poor and greatly overpriced. At the Italian restaurant the food was very poor except for the Mille Fueille dessert which was incredible - the pastry and the presentation were stunning. The main restaurant at the weekends is so overcrowded, it’s impossible to even get a pot of coffee as there are not enough staff. The room itself was the lowest available and perfect with a small garden. There wasn’t any milk for a cup of tea which would improve the stay for me anyway. I would like to say that one particular chap at the adult pool (at the bottom right of the gardens) he worked so hard all day keeping the beds, parasols and towels in order, keeping his customers happy - he was very conscientious about his job and really should be recognised for this. He worked Saturday and Sunday until around 4pm (that was 02/10/22) I would go back because the grounds and hotel in general are a treat for the eye but I would eat out elsewhere unless the prices are greatly reduced. Don’t be put off but be aware of a few faults which could be easily mended.

We travelled as a family of 4, 2 adults and 2 children ages 7 and 4. We stayed the last week of the August UK school holidays. We chose this hotel as we are fans of the Melia chain. Whilst looking we found the hotel available as part of Jet2 holidays and this worked out the cheapest way for us to book. In summary we had a fantastic stay, and the hotel was everything you would expect of a 4-star hotel, just so good. For us though, the kids club staff (who also doubled up as part of the evening entertainment team some nights) were just so much fun, they were great with the kids but also just gave the hotel a generally good friendly vibe- top marks to them all. Now some other points in detail:- Pros - We were the first transfer drop off from the airport and it was a relatively short transfer time of approximately 40 minutes. - Hotel never felt overly busy despite it being August. There were busy spells during peak dining times but only short queues. At some points we had the pool to ourselves. Plenty of sun loungers and parasols available at all times. -the energy and enthusiasm of the Kids Club staff we found to be excellent. Although the activities are mainly in Spanish the staff tried hard to include our children by translating game instructions into English. There is a good programme of events for children - slime making, T-Shirt design, pool inflatables, mini disco etc. parents are able to stay with the children for a session or sign them in and out for the hour and a half. Should the management read this then perhaps they could include English clues in the pirate treasure hunt as this would also have helped to improve their experience at little cost. - the pool and evening entertainment team. My husband and I enjoyed the daily programme of exercises which had a great vibe. As a family we enjoyed the evening shows especially the Grand Circus which was Greatest Showman based and Mamma Mia. Con - Unfortunate first impressions. After an early start and a long day of travel to be greeted by a long queue at check in and only 2 staffed points was a disappointment. We waited for about 30 minutes and we were lucky enough to have joined the queue when it was fairly small. I feel this could have been easily resolved by a third member of staff ‘working the queue’, this person could explain the activity timetable and map of the resort which seemed to be adding to the length of time needed to check in. After our wait we were told that our room was not even ready and to wait for a call from check in or return at the check in time of 4pm. With children flailing we wearily returned to check in at 3:00 having had no call to be told we could check in so perhaps our call had been missed. I’m just glad we didn’t wait until 4pm! - if you are on half board it is worth noting that breakfast finishes at 10:30am and the evening meal isn’t until 8pm. There is an ice cream parlour open and a couple of other restaurants should you wish to pay for lunch. Full and half
