The room was not as big as the description, and the overall look was very dark, so the whole room seemed a bit worn out. In addition, Ctrip's room description includes breakfast, but after many inquiries and communication with the hotel front desk, I said that there is no corresponding provision. Although Ctrip finally reimbursed me according to the invoice, the hotel and Ctrip, a third-party platform, made a mistake and finally affected my mood. Overall a failed check-in process. Although the hotel environment is good, but the location is far from the beach, which does not meet my choice of location.

The view was good from even level 10. The only issues are 1. The maintenance of the room facilities seems to be less proactive. When we checked in, the door lock plate on the side of the door was already half falling. There was a crack on the second bath room shower head. The wifi never worked with the pin provided. The living room aircon got the guiding plate dangling. The battery door of the main bedroom TV remote control was falling off. The sink was blocked in the main bathroom. 2. The resort got a “no room service on Sunday unless you book it the day before” policy. We checked in on Saturday but no one asked us if we wanted room service on Sunday upon checking in.

Most mornings I walk past the Langham Broadbeach gold coast, with my dogs and often comment, that I should stay there and see what it is like. So I bit the bullet and booked a room. And a reservation at Tang Court for lunch. From the moment we stepped out of the car, it was a superb atmosphere, and dripping with friendly service. Check-in was a breeze and we were given a full run down of the hotel. That was the only moment of regret, I didn't pack my swimsuit so couldn't get in the magnesium pool.....but I will go back for sure. Up to our to the room and it had the biggest bath, so bugger the magnesium pool. stopped by the lobby bar for a pre-lunch drink and service was quick and accurate. Then on to level 3, where we are greeted as though we are long lost friends and taken to our table. The food at Tang Court was next level and I even got a doggy bag.......so much food. Not cheap, but worth every cent and the experience. After our very long lunch it was back to the room to drop off the doggy bag and to explore the rest of the hotel. I took my glass of bubbles with me quite expecting to be told to leave it behind, but no, everyone just smiled warmly and I am sure had there been an open bottle somewhere they would have topped me up. As we are locals, I invited family down to check out the lodgings and was met with the appropriate ”ooo and aahhh!!!”. Back to the lobby bar and timed it perfectly to view the fireworks on the beach at Surfers. The bed was super comfy, great pillows and the curtains closed, made a princess sleeping paradise. Next morning it was a toss up to go to the café or the buffet breakfast. Glad we chose the buffet, $59 each and all you can eat. I definitely ate my $$$ worth. Checkout came too soon at 11am, but it was nice to have the extra hour and not the traditional 10am check-out. On checkout we of course were asked, did we have far to go home? not far I said.......about 900 metres. very pleased with our STAYCATION...........thankyou Langham,ill blow you a warm kiss as I walk past this week.

The location is excellent at the heart of surfers paradise and the view is stunning The rooms are big enough but the housekeeping is the worst part of staying They don’t clean anything or provide anything finished they just making beds and that’s it

The room and views were amazing. Property very clean, spacious and overall lovely property. The only problem was a howling wind that rattled the sliding door that kept us awake all night. We put a pillow up against the glass door, we opened the glass door slightly, but nothing stopped the noise. We advised on check out and we were told ”sorry” that's it. No offer of a $50 discount- nothing. $1000 for 2 nights accommodation with one night without sleep....

Had an upgrade from an Executive Suite to Family Suite giving more room space with views of the beach and daily room services kept our Suite fresh and clean. The Breakfast menu was always our go to and got us ready for our busy day. Thank you Novotel Surfers Paradise for always making our stay feeling like home.

I requested an early check in which is not met, while I know this is not guaranteed the reception said they would call me when my room was ready. I did not receive a call untill 2:30pm Approx which is 30 mins after the allowed check in time. When I got to my room there was a card greeting another guest and was not even my name, there was a portable bed sitting in the lounge room and the floor was quite dirty. When I spoke to reception about it they were a little rude about it, I asked if I had been given the correct room and in a rude tone they said yes, they changed my room last minute to give me an ocean view room, which I barely had. I called reception at 4:45pm to ask for some wine glasses in which I got told “housekeeping has finished and I can not get wine glasses till the following day” I’m not sure what hotel does not give you wine glasses at 4:45pm in the afternoon. The following day I called and asked for room service, at which point I was told, room service is only available if you stay “8 nights or more” I have never in my life heard of a hotel only doing room service if you stay more than 8 nights. From the moment I checked in to the end of my stay I woukd have to say it was anything but great, I can tell you right now I will not being staying at this mantra again. The staff need to have much better customer service and the hotel facilities need to be improved by a lot !

The hotel is within 10 minutes walk from the coastal beach. We booked the two-bedroom and one-washroom and gave the 27th floor of the tower3. Every room and living room can see the sea view, which is very good. Downstairs is the supermarket, there are many restaurants nearby, and the bus stop is just across the road from the hotel. It is very convenient. Kitchen utensils are readily available and it is convenient to cook for yourself. The only downside is that the toilet is not well ventilated.

The flat is dirty the carpet is totally filthy, disgusting. The seals in the refrigerators are dirty or mouldy. There were clear urine stains on the toilet seat. All the furniture is worn and old and dingy. The cushions at the dining table are dirty. There are mould stains on the ceiling in the bedroom. For 130 euros a night, this is an imposition! Leider war mein Appartement (15G) so unhygienisch und abgewohnt und dreckig, dass ich dort nicht übernachten konnte. Der Teppich war von Flecken übersät. Die Dichtungen der Kühlschränke waren dreckig oder schimmelig.  An der Decke in Schlafzimmer war ein großer Schimmel- oder Wasserfleck. Auf der Toilette waren große deutlich gelbe Urinflecken. Die Flure im Haus und mein Zimmer waren schmuddelig und sehr sehr abgenutzt. Und das für 125,-Euro die Nacht!!! Ich musste mir dann notdürftig in der Nacht eine andere (private) Bleibe suchen, was Gott sei Dank auch geklappt hat. Die Aussicht und die Lage sind dagegen sehr gut. Auch hat der Manager Luke sehr gut, freundlich und professionell gehandelt und mir den bezahlten Preis der Buchung komplett erstattet.

I will admit that I selected this hotel on price and location. Check in is a little difficult as you fave to arrive at a set time period or pre arrange before you get there. Called the front desk and was checked in without too much bother. Car park is underneath but you need the code to access, which you get on check in, so need to park somewhere in the meantime. Room was clean, equipped with everything I needed. There was also a kitchenette arrangement. It was at the rear and was relatively quiet. However, the place has a feeling of a half way house, or low income rentals. It seemed to me there were long-term residents. The hotel offers little, no food, nothing in fridge, no restaurant, no meals. There is a pool tho. For a cheap one night stay it was ok. Would I stay longer, I don't think so.
