The resort is very nice, great location. The service was great, we got tea set with cookies and fruit every afternoon to enjoy afternoon tea. Our cleaning lady Hu Quan Juan was very nice, smiling all the time. The breakfast was good, we enjoyed the variety of different dishes and really good coffee (not everywhere available). All in all we would love to stay there again!

We had a lovely stay at this beautiful hotel. The rooms were clean and a good size and the breakfast was delicious with lots of choice. We ate Western food in the bar every evening (burgers, chips etc) and the food was great. The pool was lovely (the jacuzzi is very warm) and my daughter loved the play room in the basement. Two things to consider: firstly, the boat trip is only short and involves either a cable car ride or a steep walk (I don’t like heights, so we opted for the walk and it was pleasant but would not be suitable for the elderly or very young children). Secondly, we did not know we had to book our taxi to the station the night before we checked-out, so a member of the team eventually booked one for us, as my Didi app would not get us a car, with the hotel being so far out. Overall, a lovely place and we will definitely return soon.

We chose the Sheraton Resort Hotel for our trip to Qiandao Lake. We read all the reviews praising this hotel. The location is very good and it is convenient to travel. We booked it without hesitation. After checking in, we enjoyed the service, beautiful environment, cleanliness and many other aspects. The experience was very comfortable and high-quality. First of all, the hotel contacted me in advance and gave us some tips to make our travel more convenient. Secondly, on the day of check-in, the concierge at the door took the initiative to help us with our luggage. The front desk lady patiently and enthusiastically introduced the breakfast location and time, the opening hours of the indoor swimming pool in the children's playground. During the stay, the room cleaner was very dedicated. The room was clean and comfortable every day. The service was also first-class and very cordial and thoughtful. In short, I deeply felt in the Sheraton Hotel. The beautiful environment, high-quality service and excellent team brought us a wonderful mood and experience that is unforgettable. The overall evaluation is full marks. The children's playground opposite the lobby is very large, with many items and facilities to play. The decoration colors are very eye-catching and dreamy. The buffet breakfast is rich and the service is warm. I brought my parents to Qiandao Lake for vacation during the Spring Festival and stayed at the Qiandao Lake Sheraton Hotel. It is simply great and must be shared. The hotel is in a good location and the environment is great. Building 2 is the best location for viewing the lake view. The environment around the hotel is first-class. It is surrounded by green trees and the air is fresh and pleasant. It seems to be in a natural oxygen bar. There are parent-child bicycles for rent at the lobby entrance. Cycling along the lake is super enjoyable. 1. Wrong room allocation, no balcony, it took us more than half hour to clarify 2. Refridgerator did not work, they tried to repair but it still did not work, brought a new fridge in the next morning, we put our drinks in and went out, in the evening our drinks had been hot, the fridge was heating instead of cooling, they again changed the fridge. 3. They made the bed every day and ecchanged the towels, but did clean the glasses, coffee cups and the table. 4. A lot of Chinese TV channels, one russian, arabic, french and spanish each, but no english TV channel.

Overall is ok, with a great restaurant, and a chef making superb omelet. But there are 3 points that made the experience a bit disappointing: 1. the gym was temporarily closed. 2. The room I booked, a king Deluxe, was very very small, too small for being a Deluxe, and for a leisure hotel like this. The bathroom has no bathtub, and even not enough space for towels. 3. The staff was always apologizing for some inconvenient, but didn't instead try to solve the problem. For instance in the pool side, I asked for a couple of drinks with ice and straw: they had no straw and no ice there, and didn't want to ask the bar or the restaurant to bring, so I only can take it in that way, with their apologies. Really not what you expect in this kind of hotel.

I traveled to Qiandao Lake in late August and chose two hotels that were highly recommended. I had high expectations for Minghao and specially arranged to stay in the second one. The result was quite different from what I imagined. First of all, I was very satisfied with the room hygiene and facilities. It is a newly opened hotel. The sanitary napkins and shower room are separated, and the constant temperature shower is good. What I was not satisfied with was that the balcony of the third-floor room was blocked by a half-person-high wall, and the lake could not be seen from the house. Even now, the balcony is not high enough and is blocked by trees, so the view is not wide. It is recommended to choose rooms on the fourth floor and above. On the morning of the check-in day, the housekeeper called and added WeChat, and sent the arrangement of special summer activities and the business hours of various facilities. The content looked rich and colorful, but it was actually very special. Most of the parent-child activities were set up in a booth in the lobby. No one organized it, and no children participated. The form was greater than the content. The outdoor swimming pool that I was looking forward to was far away from the hotel lobby and could not be accessed indoors. It took a long time to walk under the scorching sun. The road was not separated by people and cars, which was very inconvenient, and it was only open in the afternoon. Some vouchers were given upon check-in, but they all have thresholds. The two free ice cream coupons also have a time limit. I didn't have time to use them in the end. I blame myself for not seeing the activity time clearly. The main playground is not as big as I imagined. I personally think it is less than 3,000 square meters, but it is enough to play. Many areas in it have empty shelves, the carousel is not always open, and the ground in the overall walking area is really hard. Five apples were given as souvenirs when I checked out. The attitude of the hotel staff is also very good, but there is always a feeling of being forced to operate, and I can't feel it from the heart. The overall feeling is that they want to build a high-end hotel, but they only achieve the form, not the spirit. It is not recommended for vacation.

Our time at the Sheraton Qiandao Lake was excellent. The staff went out of their way to help us and make our trip and stay smooth. Sauron was especially helpful and was only a text message away. We would really recommend the hotel. The hot springs were lovely and warm! The only slight inconvenience is its slightly further away from everything and you need to Didi for everything as non Chinese citizens can't use the ebikes or bikes as a foreigner.

I have been to Wenxin Island many times, and I always think it is the best location in Qiandao Lake: there is an unobstructed lake view on the island (especially on the side of Zhiya Hotel), and you can see the beautiful sunset; it is not far from the main urban area; it is an independent island and very quiet. When Zhiya was designed in the early years, it was a movie-style hotel. There are many posters of European and American movies from the 1950s to the 1980s in the store, as well as some relatively rare books that can be taken and read at any time. There is also a cinema in the hotel. The Tiffany restaurant in the hotel is not expensive, and the sunset afternoon tea newly established in the past two years is very beautiful. The disadvantage of the hotel is that it is too old and not well maintained, and many facilities are damaged. In recent years, there have been many large and small hotels in Qiandao Lake. Under the pressure of competition, the prices of old hotels have been under pressure. I actually look forward to Zhiya's renovation. If it is well renovated, it will have the potential to become the best hotel in Qiandao Lake.

We stayed there in November 2023 and got an upgrade with a nice tub in the room. thank you. It was very nice. The only thing which was special for this room, was that the door to the balcony was not closed tight so cold air cold come in. The breakfast had an good amount of different food and was good. The staff was very nice also the did not speak English, but thats no problem.
