The service is excellent! The room is very comfortable and we enjoyed the room onsen bath and massage chair in our room. The food is fabulous too, I really enjoy the French dinner and the Japanese breakfast. It was a quiet and wonderful experience in Lake Villa Suimeikaku and we'll come back again.

An inn on the shores of Lake Shikotsu where you can enjoy hot springs in your room 24 hours a day. A private bath was also available and I was able to enjoy the hot springs. Dinner was an Italian meal overlooking Lake Shikotsu, and the main steak was really delicious. The facilities are also fully equipped. There was nothing excessive and I felt that they were considerate to the environment. The number of reservations was limited and the customer service was calm. This is an inn I would like to visit again.

I used it with my wife during the consecutive holidays in July. We stayed in a deluxe twin room with a view bath. The view of Lake Shikotsu from the bath was very pleasant. Unfortunately, it was raining and I couldn't even go outside, so I was absorbed in the hot springs. The quality of the spring water was sticky and unique. The Italian dinner was also very good.

Very Good

This is my 3rd stay, and my first stay since the management changed. It seems that everyone in the inn hasn't changed. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot water for beautiful skin and the Italian dinner. There are several hotels in Shikotsuko Onsen, but Suimeikaku's hot spring is the most moist and my favorite. The private bath is a circulation type, so it smells a little chlorine, but the scenery of Lake Shikotsu covers it. The room hot spring has the best spring quality, and the cypress bath (I think) has no splinter. There is no doubt that it is a good bath. The Italian dinner is just right for us, and the Japanese breakfast is just right, including the view of Lake Shikotsu. Unfortunately, the management has changed, and the wonderful flower arrangement has disappeared. This time, I was able to fully enjoy the scenery of Lake Shikotsu, hot springs, and Italian dinner.

A 5-night, 6-day trip to eastern and central Hokkaido. On the fifth day, we stayed at Lakeside Villa Suimeikaku, a hidden inn on the shores of Lake Shikotsu. A small inn with a total of 8 rooms that is 180 degrees different from the Tomamu The Tower where I stayed until the day before. The rooms are very simple, but clean and relaxing. There is no shortage of amenities. The room also has a hot spring, and you can soak in the free-flowing hot spring at any time, but first, you can heal the fatigue of your trip in the private open-air bath. For dinner, at the attached restaurant "azzurro", we had an Italian course that used plenty of Hokkaido ingredients. Breakfast is Japanese, and I'm happy with the rice that comes out of the kettle. Only stayed one night, but it was a comfortable stay.

Nothing special, new or beautiful. It's one of the few rooms, so it's good to be close to everywhere, and above all, the view is the best, and it's soothing. The food is very good for anniversaries etc.
