Route Inn is an image with a big road, but this is a hotel in an old-fashioned hot spring town. I think it is good that the hot spring is only a source hanging. I personally thought it was wet. It is close to the station, and there are convenience stores, restaurants, etc. Very convenient. Sightseeing spots (Matsumoto Castle, museums, etc.) are within walking distance, so convenience is perfect. The inside of the building is also clean, and the customer service is impeccable. To be honest, there is no room for hesitation when considering cospa.

Matsumoto station is about 5 minutes walk from the station, the location is good, there are shopping malls and convenience stores around the restaurant. Matsumoto Castle is also within walking distance. I also lived in Richmond in Kagoshima before. I was very impressed and the price was very high. When I checked in, I had a small pack of makeup remover and facial cleanser.

Great location...amazing Japanese vibe and loved the onsen spa on the roof. There is indoor and outdoor onsen with lovely night views (cover with plasters for any tattoos as it says not allowed on the wall) -perfect before bed in the spacious, tatami rooms. Impeccable service, I used Japanese so not sure of English levels. Also reception drinks available. I used to live in Matsumoto and this is the best value I have had since I left. Will definitely come back.
