I understand everything is a bit expensive in Chicago, but this motel is not worth 100 bucks a night... 40 at the most.

We looked at three rooms and none were clean. One had what look liked mouse turds against the wall, another had a blood splatter on a pillow case and the third had cigarette burn on covers. We ended up not staying there and got our refund from *******.

Terrible experience. Bathroom ceiling paint were peeling/hanging down, bathtub/floor- dirty, unmaintained, cement pieces broken off. Bedroom looked like 100-year old unmaintained look.
Air-conditioning (?) whirring noise was so bad unable to sleep. If I had known how it was, I wouldn't have stayed even for FREE. Horrible!!!!!!!!

Not a chan property and staff was a little rude with customers personal information and copy of there drivers license, bill, etc just sitting on the counter with no front desk clerk present. As a matter of fact, he came in from outside after i been at the desk for a few minutes trying to see if it was my personal information left unattended. I'll watch my credit report, etc for any odd/fraudulent activities.

There was nothing I liked about my stay. Here is a list of the problems with my room. 1) Table is room was unsteady ready to fall over. 2) Paint peeling off walls. 3) Not many tv channels and most were fuzzy. 4) Drain control of bathroom sink did not work. 5) Bathtub finish well-worn and stained.6) Tile grout in shower area needs to be scrubbed cleaner. 7) No control over the AC, room always cold. 8) no smoke detector. 9)Bathroom faucet and toilet seat not secured tightly. 10) box spring of bed no good, bed squeaked all the time. 11) hand soap provided was so small it evaporated after 2 uses. 12) dead bolt on door did not work. 13) bathroom door would not close completely. 14) no maid service.

Close to public transport, there are food places nearby and the surrounding area looks and feel safe. The staff were professional and very friendly. Bed was nice, room overall is a great transient room, highly recommend to people that needs 1 - 2 nights.
