The majestic hills of North Wales or the buzz and bustle of Chester - at Premier Inn Hotel Chester Central (South East) you can have both. We're the gateway to Snowdonia but we're also perfectly situated for some great retail therapy, and there's plenty to entertain the whole family. Climb up to a cairn at the top of Snowdon. Place your bets at Chester races. Stroll around Chester's Roman walls, or see the lions roar at the city zoo. Then it's back to our place for great food in our Brewers Fayre restaurant, and a lovely comfy bed.Show More

As a business for location photography we use primarily Premier Inn across the country .But this experience has made me reconsider whether we should return and use PI again. My room is unclean, lots of dust underneath the bed, not hoovered for a long time, the spare bed underneath was gross. The room smelt of damp. The mugs were questionable clean. Very disappointed and not happy.

We always stay at this premier inn and have never had any problems. It is always clean and comfortable with friendly staff. The number 5 bus is minutes away and runs every 20 minutes.Bus stop outside boots for return journey. Please don’t take any notice of recent bad reviews,we have already booked a return trip.

Couldn’t fault our stay here apart from the evening parking situation caused by the many tradesmen’s vans parked outside but we just parked at the Brewers Fayre next door. Our room was spotless and as usual in a Premier Inn the bed was so comfy. Had the meal deal and ate at the Twirl of Hay next door. The guy on reception was super helpful too. Easy to get into Chester as buses run from opposite Sainsbury’s every 30mins or so

Did what it said on the tin. Did have 1 issue that wasn't sorted by the time we left, but we worked around it, Apart from that it was ok. Be careful when parking as when we were there, there were more vans and commercial vehicles than cars! Once you are there for the evening you can't go out again as you will not have any spaces left. That meant that it was noisy from 6.00 am as these workers were leaving for the day. By the time we left the car park at 9.00am it was virtually empty. The actual hotel though was fine. I bet by Easter it will be full of families.

The car park was untidy and unwelcoming. Greeted by a man with an attitude of the computer says no! Arrived 19 minutes early to be told by the smirking gent at he would have to charge us £10.00 to let us book in to any of the already available rooms! The stairwell was incredibly dirty and pooly maintained. Rooms are outdated and in need of up grading.

We stayed here for two nights midweek. The staff were friendly and polite and the accessible room we had booked was clean and met our needs. However.... my area of concern was the handling of accessibility requirements. On both evenings, the car park was full, mainly with work vehicles, vans etc. The hotel is popular with workers needing to stay over on jobs. This included all the blue badge parking spaces, which were occupied by vans not displaying blue badges. At least one was a serial offender and parked there on both nights. My husband has severe mobility problems and he needs a blue badge space. We took this up with reception who basically said 'oh dear'. They made no attempt to find the drivers, although reg numbers are taken at check in, or to put notices on the vehicles etc. Obviously they value their custom more than mine. The pub car park next door was almost empty and these vehicles could easily have parked there. Instead we had to park there and my husband had a difficult and painful walk to our room. This is just not acceptable. If there is no consequence or discouragement, these selfish, inconsiderate drivers will continue to do this. Get it sorted, premier inn, this is a significant issue and a big black mark against you in terms of your accessibility credentials.

Absolutely appalling experience. Been in plenty of the chains hotels... No notification of there being no food available. Staff under qualified and don't know what they're doing if I'm honest. Don't come today as the staffing is shocking..

We had a great stay over half term with our two children. Elijah was so kind and thoughtful and brought chocolate up for our children and the two ladies at breakfast was so warm and chatty and even brought my children some zoo-themed gifts before our visit! The rooms were very clean and beds were comfy. Reasonable price and free parking. We walked into Chester which was about 20 minutes and a short drive from the zoo. Morrisons, chip shop & pub next door. Would definitely recommend!
