Hampton Inn Charleston-Southridge

Well when I first got there parking lot was full there a wrestling tournament going on in town that weekend the lady stated that she would put me on a floor with less kids withkidskidsdidn’alltnighslamming

The room was very clean, well furnished with comfortable beds. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was better than most hotel free breakfasts!

The hot tub didn't work and I hit the red button thinking it may reset the thing. The receptionist was extremely rude... Practically yelled at me for trying to get the hot tub to bubble. Pro tip.... If the hot tub doesn't bubble... It's just a bath tub. Never again Hampton...

Always a pleasure staying here. It’s convenient and comfortable and there are lots of choices for food in the local area. I recommend staying here.

I have stayed here many times. It is consistently clean, comfortable and quiet. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The gym is more than adequate. I typically travel alone and as a woman, I feel safe and secure staying here.

Diet Coke Fountain Dispenser at Breakfast!! Need I say more?! Great hotel, great amenities, great breakfast. Wendy made a great breakfast and front desk was nice. Did I mention they had a pop machine with free Diet Coke? I'll stay here again!

Staff was great, no complaints about that. Our biggest issue was the beds, very uncomfortable, old, could feel the coils, hard, every day woke up with back pain. Pillows, flattest pillows ever. Provided no support. Also, very noisy in the rooms, we could hear everything happening outside our room.

Let me start by saying that front desk staff are very kind and friendly. I’ve stayed at many Hilton properties, including various Hampton Inn across the country and this one simply falls short. I don’t understand the exceptional rating on *******, but my experience was mildew/sour smelling bathroom, remnants of cigarette odor in the room, and no Hilton Honors water available on check-in (had to purchase water) and bare bones breakfast in the morning. I was only there for one night so I was able to get in and get out but I will not be back.

Overall my stay was very nice. Very clean room. Great breakfast and 24/7 coffee station. Pleasant staff across the board. Definitely looking forward to my next visit.
