Stayed one night (driving through Lille) with the family. We reserved a ‘Family Room’ and got two adjacent rooms (connected through an inside door), hence had two bathrooms, TVs, the whole lot. The hotel looks recently renovated (or built), it is very well located in the city center of Loos, plenty of places to eat nearby, a beautiful park, and a Carrefour (in case you need some groceries). The hotel has all measures for dealing with COVID-19 and the breakfast was served to ensure guests are not on top of each other and the food. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Highly recommended and will pass by again.

We have no power in the bathroom, but we were surprised for a recent hotel and the current needs... No windows so difficult to air! Heating closed at 24*! The Quarter may be an advantage in terms of mobility but not very well attended, of which we come to the point of the Parking, the hotel does not have one, there are outdoor places, but the number of broken windows will pass you the desire to try the experience. This was confirmed during the room taking, so we chose the underground parking recommended by the staff (at least 8€ per tranche of 12h...). The Mercure Lille Airport gives a solid impression when you enter, it looks renovated. The room we got was big with an ample bathroom. It was all very clean, no complaints whatsoever. But when we went to the restaurant to have dinner we were getting a totally diffrent opinion. The menucard was very short ( that is normally no problem) but we were surprised when we served the starter ( on the menu is was stated as ”duo pate”). We got on the plate 2 tiny tins (just from the supermarket) the only thing they did was opening the tins!!!! Very bizar and far away from the famous ” french cuisine”. Main course was mesh patatoes with fish, really nothing worth remembering. Having seen the quality they presented we skipped the dessert. Furthermore a ladysinger and a guitarman were making music so loud, that is was impossible to have normal conversation with each other. After discussing this with the waiter we could move to a table in the ” ouskirts of the diningroom” and even then it was too loud. Mind you the public consisted of 5 to 6 people, so why the lady set up such an alarming voice was very questionable. All in all conclusion : hotel/room 8 out of 10 , restaurant 4 out of 10. Breakfast in the morning was luckely very OK! completely different compared with the dining experience.

Fairly modern hotel with pleasant & helpful staff. Standard rooms are quite small but properly equipped with excellent WIFI & modern showers. Note if you select 'twin', the beds are very narrow. A bit tricky to find the hotel - SATNAV unhelpful but find the TGV line & try to follow the signs. Trains do thunder past but sound proofing is pretty good & trains stop at night. Restaurant menu quite limited & a bit expensive but very nice quality & presentation. Having travelled from Lyon in a heatwave, it was great to arrive to air conditioning & a cool, clean pool. Overall, a very good stopover and only an hour or so from Calais.

We come every year at the moment of the rush to visit the family and this hotel is our privileged fall point. We are always perfectly welcomed, this year by Sandra and the departure with Céline, adorable! Spacious, comfortable and clean room. Breakfast with sugar or salted choice and quality.
