I stayed here with my partner for a friends wedding and it was extremely comfortable. At the time I went the city was having issues with water, no water in many restaurants and other hotels; Casa Cordoba always had water with great water pressure and temperature. The bed was extremely comfortable I only had a good nights sleep. Staff were amazing and kind, breakfast that was included was delicious. I had the pleasure of speaking with the owners husband and had a pleasant conversation with him. Overall place was very tranquil even familiar to me. I felt right at home :) . Thank you Casa Cordoba for a pleasant experience.

Beautiful old home restored with amazing furniture in common rooms. Nice small rooftop pool for sunset. Service a bit slow. We had a nice big room with King bed.

Cute hotel. Perfect location for exploring the walled city & is within walking distance to Gestemani as well. Staff was nice & helpful. Quick access to Ubers/taxis.

I liked the ambience of a colonial period style of the building, the furnishings which evoked the era., etc. The staff was very responsive and helpful.
What I abhorred was the high decibel noise of a wedding celebration next door on a Saturday late into the night, it gave me a headache, I couldn’t sleep, the staff let me move to another room for the night where the noise was negligible so I could sleep. The hotel staff had no authority to do anything about it legally because it was not their property.

Property is extremely charming love the colonial style. Beautiful details. I enjoyed exploring the library. The staff was excellent. The room was small but that was ok. We did have problems with the hot water as it was too hot & had trouble regulating it at the shower. For the cost of the room the hotel should offer a few more aminities such as body cream, blow dryers n possibly slippers. Breakfast included was satisfying. We had a lovely time.

If you are looking for an intimate and personalized stay and to merge yourself in the historical old city feeling, you will want to consider this place. Walking distance to local quickie-marts and high-end shops, pharmacies, restaurants, and historical places. We had two rooms; a couple stayed on the first floor, and four stayed on the last. The top floor room had two double beds and one single bed. The beds were comfortable; the single bed could be narrow for a larger person. I would advise avoiding higher floors for those struggling with stairs, as there are no elevators. The staff was welcoming, accommodating, and incredibly amicable; from the front desk to the maintenance person, they went above and beyond to make us happy. We felt very safe staying here. We also enjoyed speaking to the owner, who offered great dining options. Not an overwhelming amount of pedestrians or harassing vendors walk the hotel street, as you may see on blocks around it, especially late evening when many streets are filled with questionable characters. The city is alive 24/7; the hotel is not sheltered from the weekend sounds that are part of the local folklore. This didn't bother us as we expected it when visiting the coast of Colombia.

This is a lovely old building, 17century we were told, and the age is very evident in a good way. The large dining table, the outstanding double height library, and the bedrooms. Many bedrooms, including ours had windows looking inward to the landing area above the central courtyard, a feature of houses of this age. The room had a comfortable king bed, good a/c, fridge, hair dryer, strong WiFi, tv we didn't try, powerful shower. The rooftop pool is a bonus. Only about 2m x 5m, 1.45 deep, enough for a cool dip after a hot day sightsee-ing. No sunbathing area but seating for maximum of 6 people. Unfortunately the breakfast was the most basic we had in Colombia. A small fruit plate, juice, tea or coffee with an egg choice, scrambled with toast, omelette etc. Or a different Colombian dish such arepa, on its own, no toast with that. On day two we were advised by guests, not staff , that cereals were also available, it still didn't make it as comprehensive as most breakfasts we've had.
