On arriving at the Georgetown Inn we were greeted as long lost favourite relatives. After checking in, went for super in their lounge where we enjoyed a wonderful dinner with excellent service. Their staff is friendly and knowledgeable as to the history of Canmore and what is going on it town. We experienced a two hour flat surface hike through Policeman's Creek area and were amazed at what they have done and continue to do in that area. All the meals we had at the Inn were delicious, served promptly and what was to be hot was served hot even though they were very busy. My favourites for breakfast were the Traditional Avocado Toast and their French Toasts (Famous Orange and Strawberry Delight). For dinner, the Chicken Masala was full of flavour, a little spicey for me but still delicious. Stuffed Yorkshire Pudding was another treat. We love the ambience throughout the Inn and can hardly wait to return... Our rooms were huge, had a great fire place for warming up the room during a winter visit but we still had to turn it on for a few minutes. Beds were very comfortable. We slept undisturbed...was it that we were exhausted from our long walks or the other guests were as tired as we were and also went to bed early.. Only stayed 2 nights at the Georgetown Inn...big mistake....should have booked for a longer stay...too much to see in 3 days. Wholeheartedly recommend the Georgetown Inn.
