Stayed at the begining of March for 2 nights. This charming hotel is situated in a small square which is pedestrianised. The host Gustavo, very friendly, showed us around his hotel and suggested a nice walk. The rooms are comfortable, clean and warm with all neccessary amenities and tea making facilities. Good Wi-Fi. Friendly and helpful staff. I highly recommend this hotel. Thank you

Stayed at the begining of January for 2 nights. Set in a small square which is pedestrianised, about 100 m uphill from the main road. Room very much in an old Spanish or Moorish style. All the staff particularly friendly and helpful. Gustavo who works in both the hotel and the restaurant (across the square) was especially helpful as were the two ladies who served breakfast in the restaurant. Room had all neccessary amenities and tea making facilities. There was also free coffee in the second floor lounge. Bed was comfortable, the shower had good power and the balconies. Definately stay here again. .

Have enjoyed a couple of very enjoyable evenings here recently, both when there was live music in The Plazq so the atmosphere was great. The food was really tasty with a good selection of main courses and smaller sharing plates, all freshly prepared and served by friendly and efficient staff. We were also privileged to attend a magical wedding in Canillas de Albaida with the reception in The Plaza. Again the food and serve were excellent!

After biking around the region, we arrived at the hotel at 5pm. There was no one on the reception, so we phoned the mobile number. It was answered by someone who sounded cross that we were disturbing him. After waiting for 15 minutes, the owner arrived. We were then promptly told (there were given absolutely no opportunity for discussion) that from the three rooms we had booked, and paid for several months ago, we are only now having two rooms (I assume he had sold the third room). Naturally, we have requested a refund – but I have only received insulting emails. Is money more important to this hotel owner than say having a decent reputation as a good hotelier? Anyway, I'm still cross so I’m off to talk to Exodus travel next week.

Good value and good fun A fair bit further from Nerja than advertised but stunning location lovely hotel and two comfortable rooms for three of us Gustavo and staff very friendly and welcoming The food was good service and entertainment great

La posada está súper bien. Las habitaciones acogedoras y cómodas. La ubicación es perfecta para hacer senderismo. El personal fue súper amable siempre. Y el restaurante que está en frente y también es del mismo dueño tambien muy bien, cenamos estupendamente. Recomendado 100%

Vengo desilusionada y la verdad me siento engañada. Ha sido una escapada con mi marido. Hemos cogido un smartbox que nos ha costado 130e. Hemos llegado y hemos salido sin que nadie nos atienda en la posada. No había nadie. Teníamos una hora en el spa y subimos . La bañera de hidromasajes no funcionaba y la sauna estaba apagada y la ducha de chorros por su aspecto dudo que funcionara también. Llamamos a un teléfono que ponía en la puerta del spa pero daba apagado. Así que nos fuimos a esperar a la habitación hasta que abriera el restaurante de la plaza y tomarnos algo hasta la cena. Llega momento cena que lo teníamos incluido y no entraba ni una ensalada ni el agua cuatro platitos a elegir en poca variedad vamos un tapeillo y el desayuno bueno nada fuera de lo normal. Sabiendo que una habitación sale en unos 63 e la diferencia hasta lo que yo pagué me parece un abuso. Lo único que puefo decir bueno que el hotel es muy bonito y limpio. El pueblo precioso y destacar el restaurante los cerezos que comimos de maravilla la comida exquisita y abundante el trato muy bueno y el precio increíble .
