The initial takeaway when arriving here is how friendly all the staff are. They will go out of their way to to help you wherever they can. Our room had a private veranda with fridge and was very comfortable to sit out in due to lots of shade. When the temperatures approached 40c it was still fine to use. The bathroom is traditionally styled with a sunken oval bath with shower. Good temperature and water pressure. The bed came with mosquito nets which were invaluable. There is a TV in the room however we never used this so can't comment further. The property owner does have a lot of dogs which usually keep their distance. If you decide to walk to the cliffs though they will likely join you for some exercise. We did this early morning and had a pack of 7 for company which was nice ! We had a variety of food from the menu from a simple late night toastie through to local curries and seafood. All the food is prepared from scratch by the kitchen staff and this is demonstrated by the excellent quality. I recommended the prawns at the previous accommodation and this place also knows how to cook seafood. We had Tiger Prawn and Calamari fried up with nothing more than butter and (lots of) fresh garlic. Simply delicious and I highly recommend. Overall you won't be disappointed with this accomodation.

From the beginning to the end we couldn’t of been more welcomed and looked after. Sajjan and all of the staff were so attentive and accommodating. We stayed in the Rajani suite which was amazing( see photos). It was so spacious, clean and decorated in a tasteful way. The guests house has a very relaxing atmosphere away from the busy places. It a 10 min walk to beach were there are many bars and restaurants with sun beds. There’s a breakfast menu with lots to choose from with many hot drink opinions.

Goa has many fabulous beaches and resorts. Sinquerim is possibly just a sleepy, pretty beach, but if you want to utterly indulge in a unique and ultra charming property, it would be hard to go past Marbella. Not the 5 star plush resort, it oozes character that breaks down any formality and the staff couldn’t be more helpful whilst you soak up the opulent heritage environment. Sajjan makes you welcome and Moti et al. spoil you… From the extra fan, to discussions with the kitchen (overseen by maestro Pasquale) about whatever meal you’d like prepared fresh for the evening to a mid afternoon refresher, nothing is too much. It’s peacefully away from the madness, but only a 10 minute wobble to the beach. And, being a review, it’s great value, too. Thanks all at Marbella, hope to be back…

Immaculate and spacious property, affordable prices, great location, urbane staff, delectable food, - could not have been a better experience. Located in the vicinity of Sinquerim beach, this is a must visit property and offers an unforgettable experience!

Great rooms that are spacious and clean. Good service from team. Proximity to cliff and beach is a plus.

Am amazing stay away from the hustle of the city. Peaceful, delicious food and beyond the expectation hospitality. The food was home cooked and freshly served. Rooms were clean and spacious. It gave a very unique feel. Sajjan the manager made sure everything is well and arranged everything we needed. Will definitely come back.
