The location is great and convenient to go anywhere. When I checked in, I was told things that I didn't understand, such as being shown to the wrong room and the wrong date (?). In the end, they guided me to the room I had booked... The entrance is beautiful, but the rooms are old. There is no hot water in the morning. Brown water comes out of the tap. There was a group of students staying there, and it was noisy and people were talking loudly in the hallway late at night. Around 4 a.m., my door was banged on and I was molested.

The room was very dirty. Dust everywhere, stained sheets, and bathroom was very dirty. But the location was perfect.

Made a reservation for 1 king, but was given 2 double instead upon check-in (what can you do?). Wanted to pay the local hotel tax by cash in peso to avoid exchange to CAD (MXN or USD only), but front desk insisted that they only accept cards. I later inquired by email at the hotel, they responded they DO accept pesos (what the?). Beds and pillows in the room are very uncomfortable, sheets felt like sandpapers, but the cleaning ladies did a great job making up the room everyday (we had no choice, they did not give us a DND sign in the room. Lol). The lobby area is very nice, but the room is very dated and dark. You can store luggage for free after check out. They take away your wristband, but will give you a pink slip for the day to show to the security guards that are throughout the hotel to prove that you're a guest in case you still want to use their amenities and stay on the hotel beach. Without it, the security will ask you to leave the beach. Location of the hotel is great and in the busiest/noisiest section in the entire Hotel Zone. Get a room in the east tower next to the Grand and you won't hear a thing. Oh and there's a mailbox in the hotel lobby! There's one in terminal 4 as well in the airport departure hall right beside the red convenient store on the ground level. Hopefully all my postcards will make it!

Not too much good to say about this place. The rooms are old and crusty. The bars all close super early. The food is not very good. The only redeeming feature was the pool and the beach.

It’s dirty I requested ocean view and they gave me a hard time getting ocean view for something I paid additional for.

The service overall wasn't good

The interior of the room was in a terrible condition, even dangerous for leaving. Staff doesn't care much to respond, to make things better.

Krystal the original ones needs a Reno, the staff was great, Enrique was an amazing server! The resort has an amazing beach!!! Food was decent and a good selection. We originally thought we booked all inclusive thru ******* . Apparently we didn’t . The grocery store is very affordable. So we made do. Watch out for cab prices at the airport they charge thru the nose ! If booked on departure from Krystal the cabs are cheaper that booking alone . We paid 135usd when e transfers didn’t wait for our delayed flight . We are hoping Etransfers doesn’t let us down on departure . As it was already paid for them.

Very bad experience at hotel check in, booked weeks ago with Trip.com confirming a 4 day stay for 2 adults 2 children , at arriving at the hotel they charged me full fee for a children for 4 days as an extra adult even though it was booked as 2 adults 2 children on Trip.com , I requested help from Trip.com and they told me. Very nicely in about 6 occasions trough my 4 day stay that they where finding out what happened , to this day neither the hotel or Trip.com has come forward with an explication of why they charged me differently from my booking, I will be staying in this hotel due to his location sometime in the future but I will do it trough their webpage, no need to book trough Trip.com needless to say a disingenuous booking , I had a previous booking with Agoda, but Trip.com was cheaper for the exactly same type of reservation so I decided to tried it out BIG Mistake, it seems they lower the cost of this reservation to bring costumers to their website, so much to expect from a Chinese base company, I learned my lesson.
