Das Zimmer war sehr schön, wie auf den Fotos. Es war sehr sauber und ordentlich. Zum Frühstück gab es leckere gefüllte Croissants und Café. Lorenzo und seine Familie sind super lieb! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Falls man ohne Auto unterwegs ist, sollte man bedenken, dass die Unterkunft auf einem Berg liegt. Der Weg zum Meer ist theoretisch nicht so weit, aber es ist etwas anstrengend. Aber trotzdem würden wir jederzeit wieder zu Lorenzo gehen. :)

We always try to find smaller boutique hotels to stay at when we travel and we found Limen Wellness Hotel online. We didn’t really know what to expect from a wellness hotel but it sounded great. We spent a few nights at “Limen” in October 2023 and want to share our wonderful experience. The hotel is situated just off the main road from Palermo towards Cefalu. The location is excellent with several options for nearby restaurants (by car). We especially loved Ron e Salvo, which is amazing! It’s also a short drive to the long sandy beach. We were warmly greeted by the Limen staff at check-in and they stored our luggage for us until our room was ready. (We arrived early) The room was very spacious, clean and the bed was super comfortable. Every area of the hotel had a lovely SPA sense and smell to it. The pool/jacuzzi area was calm, beautiful and perfect. We also booked massages in the SPA and they were very relaxing. The best part of the stay was the breakfast buffet! A wonderful spread of choices, hot food, breads, cereals, yogurts, fruit, cakes, fresh juices, coffees and an incredible hot chocolate. The breakfast really sets the tone for the Wellness hotel since we felt great starting our days with breakfast by the pool. The staff was absolutely lovely and very attentive. We will definitely stay there again. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

We returned from a week-long stay here in a Signature Level Suite on October 1st. It is a nicely set up hotel but not 5 star. Pros Lovely, helpful and friendly staff - particular mention for Giancarlo who served us at breakfast in the Chang Thai every morning Breakfast in the Chang Thai was very good The evening meal in the Chang Thai was excellent The selection of spirits was top drawer - not certain if you get the same selection if you’re not Signature Level Rooms perfectly adequate with decent toiletries and a powerful (plug it in where you like) hairdryer Minibar restocked daily with water, coke and beer Topper put on bed as soon as requested Relaxing lobby bar and outdoor patio in the Signature Level reception Well stocked Signature Level pool bar but no snacks served Good range of american food served in the Sports Bar with several different sports channels showing across the range of tv screens Cons The Signature Level pool is NOT adults only. Whilst I understand that there are Signature Level family rooms I’m afraid that given the fact there were 3 other pools with childrens sections then even if you pay for Signature Level you should be advised in the T & C’s that the age limit for this pool is a minimum of 18. We were lucky in so much that there were only a couple of under school age children staying whilst we were there, but when you pay a reasonable sum of money then you don’t want the disturbance. It would have been nice for some low level music to be played in the pool area. The sun loungers around the Signature Level pool are crowded together and even at that there aren’t enough loungers for the numbers that can stay in that level of accomodation The Signature Level pool although cleaned every morning had a ring of sun-lotion scum around the central island. Also a lot of the grout in the pool was black - it obviously hadn’t been ground out and replaced before the start of the season. It is advertised that you get priority booking in the A La Carte restaurants - don’t be misled by this statement - we got reservations in each only once and we didn’t meet any Signature Level guests who got more than one booking in each per week. We came to the conclusion that it was their policy. The El Dorado Steak restaurant - you get a basic entrecote as your choice of steak and you have to pay 30 euros or more for anything else - we don’t mind paying extra for a t-bone or tomahawk, but ribeye or fillet should be included. The Portofino restaurant is outdoor and has a reserved area at lunchtime and does a small buffet selection. In the evening it is classed as an a la carte but if you don't want pasta or pizza you have a very limited choice - one dish was cod with 2 pieces the size of cod bites. The Sicania buffet restaurant is very large and noisy - it does have an outdoor seating area which is quite pleasant and cool at lunchtime as it is in the shade.
