Evancy Trésors d'Opale

We spent two nights in Evancy Tresor d'Opal. It was a lovely family shortbreak. The studio was well maintained and equipped. The heated pool was great and the children's play area enjoyed by the kids. Secure parking right unfront if the property made unpacking a breeze. Service was excellent.

Excellent apartment , friendly staff, pool rarely busy apart from the “pool party”😁. Only 400m from the dunes and 5 min walk into town where there are a number of restaurants and a bakery. Excellent break, I would recommend.

We had an excellent stay for 5 days, 2 apartments of different sizes for our extended family. Both apartments were clean, tidy and seem very new. The bedrooms are small but that doesn't really matter as it means there is more living space. The kitchen area is compact but well designed. We were only there for 5 days and didn't do much cooking but the microwave / grill is on the small side if you were doing anything substantial. Also, the cupboard space is full of crockery / pans etc so there is very little room to store groceries. The swimming pool was great, the little playground was much appreciated, but the best thing about the site is that you can walk to the bakery and the cafes/ restaurants, and the beach (which is enormous and sandy and great for young children). There are a couple of electric car recharging points but check before you leave the UK as you might need to have the Shell app downloaded (I had trouble registering for it whilst there) and/or a physical 'ChargePass' which covers a lot of the French recharging points. You can't pay for the faster charging using your phone (you can plug in to the very slow charging point but you will need a travel adaptor for the plug). We were really impressed and would definitely stay again.

The rooms are very comfortable and clean. Everything is quite new which makes it that much more exclusive. No corners were cut : the pool is warm enough to go swimming on a colder day, free bathrobes to borrow, possibility to buy beer, coffee or cheese (and more) is a great service and the crockery has been splurged on in the rooms which makes each meal that much better. The staff was accommodating and nice. There is even a playground and good parking. Beach is walking distance with some shops and restaurants. There is also a weekly market. We have nothing negative to comment. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

This a very modern and clean hotel and provides a very nice outdoor, heated swimming pool. The room was overall a good size and benefitted from nice shower, toilet and kitchen facilities. The lounge and balcony were also good. My only criticism would be the bunk beds (I expected twin beds) and a lack of air conditioning in the room, which had a tendency to become hot in the afternoon/evening
