Good hotel just stayed with hotel full of students so breakfast and dinner was like a cattle market but had the pool area all day until they came back from their trips beach was close by

Firstly upon our arrival our room wasn't ready, all inclusive you are given a plastic card in return at bar ur given a plastic glass with chosen drink, u must then return your glass in exchange with a card! (Wristbands easier)as a party of 4 we felt as all.inclusive we was looked down on, no table service unless your paying! After 11pm all Inc stops......$8.50 for a gin.....discusting in my opinion. There's an older bar man and the rudest man I've ever met! Reception staff not over friendly. Witnessed a toddler near drowning.....life guard was on his phone! Both pools are really cold! Rooms are dated but cleaned daily( cleaners where polite) food was okish...hotel was predominatly french and Germans whom were very rude and arrogant, not many English holiday makers. Entertainment was appalling and 1 evening it kicked off with families due to rude families standing infront of stage! Not many sunbeds for the ground pools we found out you have to que of a morning to get a bed the floor surrounding the pool is very slippy ( many slips and falls) lifts are really slow with 1ift broken for 2 dys. I would not recommend this hotel and wished I'd have read reviews prior to booking. Rooms also have no insulation could hear nxt rooms talking!

Just spent a week at this hotel as we wanted a central hotel near to the Ironman event as we were out there supporting our son and his tri club, we booked this following reviews on this site for location. it was perfect , practically opposite the bike transition, there were plenty of the athletes staying in the hotel , who provided a very early breakfast from 5 am on race day. We booked a week as we wanted to make the most of the last of the sun, the hotel was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was excellent, great choice of cooked and cold everyday, the staff were friendly and welcoming. Our room was spacious and clean , the shower was large with plenty of hot water and towels. The hotel wasn’t busy as it’s near the end of the season , the pool area was well kept and access to the bar for snacks and drinks. The train station was a short walk away with easy frequent trains to Barcelona, very cheap and efficient.If you are supporting or competing in Ironman 2024 perfect central hotel

Where to start with this gem of sunshine! Location. Arrived into Girona Airport with a 35 minute drive to Kaktus Hotel, calella! Hotel Checked into a Urban room with Balcony Street View, room massive, clean and modern, plenty of storage, king size bed, large light windows with electronic screens for privacy, refrigerator, TV, Telephone, safe, WIFI, desk, sofa. Beds were spacious and super comfy! A little outside noise, but nothing to intrusive. The Hotel offers two pools, we paid extra for the Sky Lounge and worth every penny, breathtaking sea views, panoramic pool and plenty of sun loungers. We paid 20 euro a day, but free if you are staying in the suite or nature rooms. For 20 euro we had great views, great service and occasionally complimentary treats, croissants, champagne, fruit juice. We had lunch every day and the food was exceptional. Food The breakfast buffet was nothing I had seen before for a hotel, the abundance of food on offer and quality was out of this world! The restaurant was super clean, staff lovely and friendly. As a vegetarian, I was well catered for. Best buffet I had ever had, wished more hotels would follow the same quality and standard. Nighttime The roof top bar is a great place to relax, have a drink and look out at the stars! Overall I loved it, it was a weekend break and I can't wait to book again! If you want to go and relax with the beach on your doorstep, this is just the place!

The room we had was on seventh floor but there were 3 lifts so no problem. The bed was to large singles together really comfortable with really good pillows and quality bedding. We didn't need blankets but they were in wardrobe in case. We had large french windows with a lovely balcony not overlooked at all. Blackout curtains with a thin curtain overlay which could be pulled across for privacy or to let light in. The furniture was good quality with a huge wardrobe with mirrored doors and shelving inside as well as ample hangers. Sadly the bathroom was a little tired reasonable size with hairdryer and toiletries but there was a bath with shower a bidet toilet basin and a shower cubicle squashed in it was very small and splashed all over in my opinion this wasn't required as it wasn't suitable for disabled clients. The room was cleaned daily unless you requested no cleaning, beds made and towels refreshed. No kettle cups or drinking glasses not really a big miss. Air-conditioning was free and a safe provided which had to be paid for. The pool area on floor above was amazing sheltered with great views plenty of sun beds and very clean a nice bar area as well with good strong umbrellas and sun shades. Reception were helpful friendly and efficient nothing too much trouble. Room wasn't ready till 2pm but we give key to a storage room for luggage. The food was amazing lots of different tapas and salad something different every night pastas and rice chips even hot dogs and burgers, very plentiful food looked pleasing to the eye. Breakfast was a small selection of bacon eggs sausage and beans the a massive continental selection with breads and pastries meat and cheeses as will as salad, yogurts and cereal. The juice came from a machine and there was a variety as well as coffee and tea, the piece de resistance was the cava served on ice beautiful.

Generally well, they allowed me late checkout and changed my room by not being double bed as I put on the description of trip.com in which I also put that there was a bathroom but there was not ... The cleaning well, very comfortable bed, good location, perhaps the least breakfast, he missed some choice to be a 4 stars, it was all too simple, but the gentleman who was in the section of eggs and creps made at the moment was very kind (Yusef), well in general. The spa is not a good place to stay, nor are they mentioning it.

Stayed here for 6 night (10th oct) hotel is spotless! Room was lovey! Bed was comfortable! Loved the breakfast!! So many choices! Breakfast was from 8-10am and does get extremely busy! Did run out of bowls and glasses but staff are quick to stock. Great location over looking the beautiful church. I did have a medical emergency which the staff didn’t handle very well. But we spoke to the manager of the hotel after and was extremely apologetic and promised us the staff would be more proactive in future! This Didn’t hinder the stay in the hotel, and I would definitely recommend and return!
