The hotel complex is nice, with a lot of greenery and big pool. It is located on a hill and walking between pool / restaurant and your room involves walking up and down the hill. This hotel is good for vacation but if you want to travel around and explore the island don’t stay there - you need to travel via narrow mountain road with a lot of steep and sharp rounds every time to and back. It takes an hour in one direction to get to a normal road and then depends on where you are going another 1-3 hours. Food - not good at all. Has nothing to do with the local cuisine. Tasteless, not fresh. Staff is not nice. If you travel and need to get a beg food - better don’t. For breakfast they put a bottle of water, 3 cookies and jam. For dinner, when we come back later and they were waiting us to serve “warm” fresh food, they served a slice of mortadella, cold rice, a red pepper and half boiled potato also cold. Rooms desperately need refurbishment. Not quite clean. Small ants are on the night table. Bathroom is big but shower is so tiny and small you can’t turn around in. Staff is very unpleasant and not supportive. When we arrived by buss, there were 4 reception desk open but they worked so slowly that it took more than 15min per person to check in. Then we had to wait a single golf car to take each one of us to our villa. We had to talk to the manager as one of the rooms was under the stair case with 3 air conditioning units under the window and was very noisy so we asked replacement. The receptionist said that they will check tomorrow. We asked for the manager and he said the same - today they are fully booked and will check tomorrow. When I asked why tomorrow, they know what they have booked, he said he’s busy and can’t deal with us now. Then they never called and we had to keep that room till the end.

We had a beautiful stay in Club Esse. I was quite nervous due to the negative reviews. It was such a fun place. My family had a beautiful stay in this place. I was afraid it was too noisy. But actually the music is for the activities they provide for adults and kids. They have water zumba in the morning and afternoon! Which I participated. There was a color splash which my 7 year old daughter enjoyed so much. The swimming pool was beautiful and the beach was lovely. Although a bit far but there was a train that will bring you to it. I feel like they deserve a good review. The staff was helpful to us and very nice to our bambina. We needed a card for drinks and make sure to pay the reception before going to the beach if you want to rent an umbrella. The breakfast was standard and couldn’t complain about it. The place was close to other beautiful beaches in the Gulf of Oresei. I would highly recommend a car I think it’s a must for this place. There are so many nice restaurant and the beach around this place os absolutely stunning! The room was just right for us and it’s just what we need.

We were in a group of 125 dancers and I think most people had a wonderful time in this resort. There were some issues, however, the accommodation was good, the dance venue was excellent, the swimming pool large and clean, the food was reasonable and the restaurant had loads of choices - albeit fewer for people who have specific dietary requirements, but there was meat, fish, pizza, pasta/rice in many versions and sauces (and pasta also for celiac people on request) many different type of starters and salad. In general, there was a good variety of food available daily. Breakfast included yogurt, sausages, bacon, eggs, cereals, fruit, cheese and cold meats, cakes and pastries, then typical breakfast drinks including cappuccino, coffee, latte, macchiato, chocs etcetera – although if you arrived late for breakfast, it made a difference as to which of these items were available. However, for those who got up from bed very late and missed breakfast, the resort provided “L’angolo del Dormiglione” or “Sleepy Head Corner” located in front of the bar area and featuring a small selection of breakfast items, which I thought it was an excellent customer service idea that I never experienced anywhere else before. Breakfast was repetitive, but then that is the nature of breakfast. Yes, they ran out of butter and some other foods at times, and also wine, but eventually these were replaced. Canned beer was given out freely and some other hotel guests outside our group went for it, and so the resort introduced restrictions. However, the event organiser bought several crates of beer (and also got some from the resort) all these were taken to the area of the restaurant reserved for us and these were available freely to us all. It was the end of the season and probably the staff was tired and looking forward to going home, and, whilst service with smile is always a welcome bonus, in the end I believe that most people enjoyed dancing in a fantastic venue overlooking the bay and the nearby village during a week of uninterrupted sunshine with easy access to the nearby beach (on foot and/or via the little free tourist train that runs regularly throughout the day for guests, between the resort and the beach) with free parasol and deck chairs. All in all, this was a great and affordable event in a lovely venue, and whilst it cannot be denied that there were some issues, I feel that there were also many positive aspects that also need to be considered.

This hotel was in a nice location on a hill. Had a road train to the beach carpark and was a 5 minute walk to the little town. Rooms were OK but the food was absolutely horrendous. Same chappy food ever day. Breakfast consisted of cold greasy bacon and cold scrambled eggs tinned fruit. Plenty pastries which I couldn't eat as a coeliac but no alternative. Staff wear very rude wine and beer kept running out as did the butter. Would definitely not go again.

Went on an organised dance holiday with around 120 people. When we arrived the check in staff insisted we weren't booked and were telling us we were in the wrong hotel. Eventually they found the right list and when coached to turn to page two they found our names. Breakfast was generally hot dog sausages and scrambled egg if you were lucky enough that it hadn't run out by 9.00. Dinner was bland but OK if you liked pizza. Beer was guarded and chained up and only given out begrudgingly. Wine regularly ran out half hour into service and was even less regularly restocked. Beer and wine were completely silly prices in the evening so the supermarkets made a small fortune instead. The "entertainment" staff, run by a poor karaoke singer who looked a bit like Tony Soprano generally acted and behaved like 12 year old. They were not happy their karaoke fest had been replaced by our own DJ and music and the first few nights they regularly attempted to disrupt the dancing by trying to intimidate us, playing with the volume and even playing an electronic piano over the music. Near the end of the evening the staff would literally throw the tables and chairs around to reset the room while we were still dancing, sarcastically clapping when we exited and slamming the doors shut as we left. The manager did come in midweek to deal with the children and remind them we had booked this arrangement 6 months previous but this only made them do their job for a night. It's a lovely location and a bit dated but the staff made this a thoroughly unenjoyable holiday ....

Very noisy. The music is very loud after midnight. Sleep is impossible. The rooms are small and smelly. No soap, no shampoo. give once for 15 days. This is called a 4 star hotel. The breakfast is bad. Very bad. Lunch and dinner are good. The pizza is delicious. But be prepared to sit in the darkest and farthest corner of the restaurant if you are not Italian. Caps are required in the pool. But there are no sanitizers anywhere. The hotel area is large and beautiful. For the use of air conditioning and TV take money.
