Miserable receptionist. He couldn’t have cared less. The small double has a big bed but no room to move for two people. The washing facilities are in the room behind frosted glass. Minimal privacy. Bed comfy and shower fantastic. Soundproofing non existent when it came to hearing bathroom activity from above. Location is excellent. Very noisy with window open. Didn’t bother with breakfast and no tea or coffee in the room. Wasn’t cheap either.

Excellent hotel in superb location for sightseeing, two minutes walk from the main square. Lots of restaurants and bars nearby but hotel situated on a quiet street. Breakfast was brilliant, laundrette next door was very useful. About 15 minute walk from the train station.

Quaint hotel in the heart of Bruges with easy walking access to the main square and its bars & restaurants. Family run hotel with friendly and helpful staff plus the the rooms are comfortable and the breakfast excellent. We would recommend

Great location so close to the Markt and nearby park house. Yet away from the main road that it is quiet. A little gem off the beaten track.

The hotel is very central and ideal for getting around. The breakfasts were ample with a good choice of continental breakfasts. The room was very small, but had a huge comfortable bed. There was hardly any storage, only 4 coat hangers and 2 shelves. The shower was excellent, but a very strange set up with the loo & shower cubicle at the bottom of the bed. The wash basin was less than 2 feet from the side of the bed which made manoeuvring around the bed difficult. A 5ft bed rather than 2 3ft beds pushed together would allow a bit more space. The room was very hot and a mini fridge would have been nice., but I appreciate that the lack of space would make it difficult. As we went as a group of 4 it would have been good for one of the downstairs rooms to be open for socialising, but they were locked. Overall, the hosts were friendly and it was a very central hotel.

Take care: there is no door to separate the bedroom from the toilet. A total no-go. Fortunately they had toilets downstairs at the reception. Would be good to know that in advance. Roomsize is OK and Location is perfect!
