My wife and I were attending a wedding in the area stayed at this hotel. When we arrived, there was only one person at the front desk so we had to wait in a long line to check in. Just as we got to the front of the line, another person (the front end supervisor) popped out of a backroom and started to help with the check in process. We were given keys to our room (which didn't work) went back down to the desk, waited in line again and were given replacement keys (which didn't work). When we returned to the front desk for the third time, we were given a different room. When we got into the room, we wanted to wash our hands and discovered that there was no soap. Again we went to the front desk and were told that they had no bar soap and that we would have to use the soap from the dispenser in the shower - not an easy thing to do when the shower floor is wet and there are mobility issues. We complained but were told that if we stayed at this hotel again, they would try to take better care of us, As a loyal Marriott customer, I am very disappointed in this hotel. A very bad job by the management.

I booked this Inn for a last minute trip. It was lovely, peaceful, immaculate. The staff were friendly and helpful; there are complimentary hot beverages in the lobby; there are also delicious cookies, fruits, and newspapers . When I got to my room, I found more treats, chocolates! It had been a hard day, so I was especially grateful for the warm ambience. The room that I had was spacious, elegant, very traditional, with a super comfortable bed and a fine sofa. The temperature controls worked perfectly. I did not have time to stay for the complimentary breakfast, but appreciate that it was available. Oh, yes, I would love to stay there again. Thank you!

We had an error on our reservation that was our fault...mistakes happen. When we realized our error, I called the general manager and she was so helpful in putting everything right for us. She really went out of her way to put the customer experience first and made sure that we enjoyed our time in the Hartford area. I will say that it was raining and gray so with sunshine things may have appeared better. On checking the staff were overwhelmed and we had to contend with a long line. My guests had to sit in the car for 20 minutes while we were checking in. The annex where we were placed was drab and lackluster.The rooms were old and in need of refreshing .( Actually one of my guests stated that there were many dead bugs in the bathroom but I cannot personally verify that.) There was a musty smell in the room on entry and I had to leave the door open to clear it out. Plastic cups. Broken ice machine. Iron didn’t work and I guess you get the gist. It was a lodging that you wouldn’t expect from a $49.00 motel.

I hope that the blanket of the room should not be shed. I have a lot of hair sticking on all my clothes. I have been going home for a long time, it is a little troublesome, the other is excellent, the service is good, the room is comfortable!

We had a queen bed with a sofa pullout. The queen bed was uncomfortable & more like a full. The sofa bed appeared to be broken & we could not sleep on it. 2 of us got no sleep due to the sofa bed. Our phone in the room was also not working when we tried to contact the front desk. Very nice staff, but room was horrible.

The hospitality that this hotel has to offer will make you a return customer. I had such a great experience during my last minute stay here. From the guests to employees, everyone is super friendly. The hotel is spotless, and the rooms are nice and dated. It’s a steal for the price offered. I’m really here to review the manager of this location Carlin Holness. She has transformed my expectations of hotel customer service in such a positive way. From the minute she assisted me, she was nothing but bright and radiant energy. Her smile and laugh is infectious and it makes you feel right at home. If I ever own a business, I would 100% make her the face of it. She goes above and beyond for her customers and Marriott should be extremely proud to have her representing their team. I am in absolute awe of how one person can dramatically influence your stay at a hotel. She made me want to never book anywhere but Marriott. If you see this Carlin Holness, THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!
