Good starting point for ski or hiking. Nice village of Brides-les-Bains Very down to earth staff. Altough correct. The breakfast is great! The rooms are very good and a free parking is available behind the hotel.

I went with family to Isle of Man last week. This hotel is fabulous and couldn’t have done enough for my family. The beautiful clean smell as soon as you walked in had me convinced we were in good place. When we checked into our accommodation we had originally booked we were devastated to say least. The savoy saved our memorable trip with warm welcome and lovely rooms with a view of the promenade. The breakfast was amazing and nothing was too much trouble they catered for our allergies so we ended up having dinner there too. Would highly recommend this hotel and I know I will be back also.

Genuinely cannot thank Haneffe and Mary enough for accommodating us at the very last minute when our original hotel was less than expected! Their hotel is impeccable. From first impressions we where not disappointed. Our room had the most amazing views along the promenade, was very comfortable & spotless. Tea/coffee making facilities. Toiletries provided. Fresh towels every morning. All the staff we met where friendly & made us feel at home. Mary even went as far as to go shopping to ensure we had gluten free products for breakfast. We will definitely return & would have no hesitation recommending 🥰

We booked the Savoy for a for a place to stay whilst visiting IoM following our football team Bury AFC. All we wanted was a place to get our heads down after the match, but we got so much more. The hospitality from Haneffe, Mary and the lads was second to none. They couldn't have done more for us from start to finish. Helping with an early check-in (given our very early flight), opening the bar and kitchen early so we could get some 'fuel' ahead of the match, putting the boxing on for us in the evening and when disaster struck and our return flight was cancelled due to fog, they pulled out all the stops and looked after us for an extra night's stay. The building is clean and beautifully decorated, the food is absolutely fantastic! Location is excellent and price point is serious value for money. I honestly can't rate The Savoy, Mary and Haneffe any higher, the rest of the reviews echo my thoughts. Thank you from us all, we'll definitely be back. See you next season!

I visited this establishment on 15th April with an intended stay of one night. I was part of a group of six who were visiting to watch Football. On arrival, we were greeted by Haneffe, one of the owners who really couldn’t have been more welcoming. We arrived early, around 9am, however he allowed us to check in early so we got instant access to our rooms. Whilst dropping the bags, he went out of his way to knock up some breakfast for us all. On entering my room, was mega  impressed with the modern design but also, how clean the rooms were, immaculate. I was in a twin room, it had everything needed and more. It had a double bed and single bed. Dressing table, ironing board and most of all, fantastic costal view of the sea and harbour. The bathroom was spotless, plenty of crisp white towels and a nice selection of shampoo’s etc. The décor was brill, can tell so much time, effort and expense has gone into this venue which he told us took over two years to renovate.  Even the quality of the carpet, you really do feel instantly comfy in this venue.   From there, we went downstairs and in to the Bar Area, this is known as Haneffe’s Bar & Grill. Present here was his Haneffe’s lovely wife, Mary. Also present were a few members of staff who was all so friendly, welcoming and great to engage with. All took great pride in the jobs and loved telling us about the history of the Island. We was also provided with fantastic breakfast butties and not long after, we sampled the exemplary selections of drinks. A really classy and comfy restaurant and a fully stock bar with both draft and bottled beers. Great selection of spirits too. Again, in this area, the décor and lighting is fantastic with great views over the sea. To the rear of the bar there is a lounge type area with TV’s displaying sport etc, really compfy and well presented. Not long after, off we went to the football. Returned around midnight, got in with no problems and had a fantastic nights slight in a really comfortable peaceful night’s sleep. The following day, we woke up to the island covered in fog and it was hit and miss whether we’d be able to leave the Island. Given it was an afternoon flight, we lounged around the Haneffe’s bar pending updates. A bit of panic set in when we was told all flights and ferries had been cancelled. Haneffe to the rescue, really couldn’t have been any more reassuring or helpful in allowing us to stay another night. The really did help a stressful situation and is testament to this family business. We all decided to have some lunch, and what a great menu they have. All six of us had different dishes and everyone came out piping hot and without delay. The Roast Dinner is a local favourite here, very very popular amongst the locals and I can see why! I had the burger, it was stunning! Will absolutely stay here again and would recommend to anyone, this place really is setting the standard on the Island. Thanks for looking after us all and hope to se

We’ve been coming to this hotel for 6 years in a row, were always happy and felt at home there. This year everything was again perfectly fine, until the last day. We were skiing and when we came back, they moved all of our stuff from our rooms to a different room. Apparently, they made a mistake and thought our reservation was 6 days instead of 7, so they were overbooked. But that is not our problem! 2 of our 3 rooms had probably new bookings, so they had to be emptied. Really angry that they touched all of our stuff without our knowledge, moved it through the hotel from the 2nd to the ground floor! We were put in a weird room. The room was literally inside of the lobby and extremely noisy. Absolutely hated the way they moved and touched all of my stuff. This is so personal, it is an invasion of my privacy. They could at least have waited until we were back so we could do this ourself. We weren’t even called. They had only send an e-mail, which we obviously didn’t read because we were skiing. All of our stuff was confused. Even my handbag, wallet and money was moved and packed in different bags by them. After this experience, we will never return in this hotel. This is unprofessional and the way it was handled was even worse. We always enjoyed the hotel, even if it was by minimalistic. It is outdated, but that makes it cosy. The location is good, you can park your car and the gondola to Meribel is close. The rooms are okay (overall clean), the breakfast is okay, the dinner is okay (not much choice). The young girls and boys who are waiters etc. try to make the best out of it for the hotel and they are doing great. Compliments to the team of this year, they were nice to us. The management is seriously screwing it up. We were shocked by the way how loyal guests are being treated. Would always have recommended this hotel, but after our experience this year and the way they handled it, I would nobody recommended to visit. Sad story, otherwise would have returned for many more years with the whole family, Brides les bains is a lovely place to stay. This has left an unpleasant feeling at the end of our holiday. In Dutch we would say: vakantie met een zwart randje er aan

Great location. Everyone lovely and friendly. The place is a bit tired. We visited in may so had a short spring break. As a ski location it would be great. Only downside was no kettle or tea in the room. Minor but important.
