La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Richmond-Midlothian

The room was okay. Not the best bathrooms. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast staff was really nice. We also liked the mall right next door and the restaurants very close by.

I come there once a month to visit my Son for the weekend. We were watching a movie the first evening and watched roaches crawl up wall behind television. Then as we got ready for bed and i pulled off comforter, i noticed what i thought was pizza sauce. Ugh.I complained and they said they couldn't switch my room and offered no compensation. Very disappointed with the whole situation. I definitely will never booked with them again.

This property provided all basic accommodations and was affordable. It does not give a luxurious feel, but was clean and suitable for a short stay.

I've stayed at other La Quita's and been impressed by their cleanliness, quality and service. Unfortunately, that was not the case at La Quita Inn & Suites at Richmond-Midlothian. The elevator was dirty, and their were many deferred maintenance items obvious in the elevator and common areas. In the room, the light above the sink worked at night but not the next morning, nor did the outlets at the sink work. the shower faucet handle was about to fall off and it was almost impossible to regulate the water temperature. Unfortunately, we were already well settled into the room before we realized the room issues. We shared these concerns when checking out and the manager said, "Oh, we don't usually put paying customers in that room because of all the problems." The hotel was far from full, so that didn't seem like a good reason. She went on to explain that the sink light and outlet don't work when the buildings outside lights are turned off. --Again, someone should have foreseen this. She apologized for us being assigned the room but offered no discount on that or future stay. Very disappointing. Oh, and the coffee maker was setting in a place where it not only was unplugged, but could not reach a plug. Not a big thing in itself, but taken together it was a very disappointing stay.

All in all the hotel was nice however the hotel needs to pay more attention to details such as quality of repairs to rooms paint and carpet.

We repeatedly stay here while visiting our family in Midlothian. Staff is very friendly however the complimentary breakfast is LESS than desirable

Staff was polite and helpful. We left something in our room after checkout and received a phone call about the item. We were able to swing by a few hours later to get the left item. I’d stay here again.

The staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean, one thing to note, the sink is in the room entryway, not in the bathroom. The a/c worked well and the beds were nice. One elevator was out of service and that was inconvenient for everyone. Ran out of breakfast items before cut-off time and we heard some negative comments about that from the other guests. Also, we heard people expected waffle maker. We were fine without it.

This was not a nice hotel. Rude and slow staff. Broken elevator. Dingy rooms with smelly carpets. So many pets. Uninspiring breakfast. No towels or water in exercise room. 10 years overdue for a makeover.
