The accommodation is spartanian enough,although there are showers, hot water, two oil-heat kitchens,that is all necessary to spend a evening and a pleasant night, After a long walk on the underlying black beach to the CGE pharaohs seems a rinoceront planted in the sea. The 5 points are for the charming rental away from countries and streets.In the small bar at the guesthouse there is a small exhibition of fabric made by a gentlemen of the place at hand and at a cheap price

This family-run stay was our favorite guest-house stay. It was very clean, modern, warm and ”homey” with excellent amenities, including a fully stocked kitchen, dining room, TV and hot tub. We were fortunate to share these amenities with other friendly and considerate guests. After arriving we arranged a horseback riding farm tour which was also convenient and very enjoyable. Lovely people, lovely and enjoyable time - highly recommend!

The last time I stayed at this hotel, I had the same thought: why did I order this hotel? It looked so lovely on the web, but when I arrived, it was so old and rundown, and it was pretty expensive. However, when I leave, I have a good feeling and good memories. The houses are old, one from 1884, I think, and the new annex from 1950, I think. You have to go outside to get between the two houses. Everything is so run down on the outside. But inside it is warm and cosy, with no bad smell. The room is lovely, with new windows and a comfortable bed. Service is satisfactory, and breakfast is simple but fresh. Strangely, everything in the hotel is in English - nothing in Icelandic, and the staff doesn't speak Icelandic.
