Hotels with Airport pickup service in Beyoglu

My wife and I enjoyed our week-long stay in the Soul Hotel in Istanbul in January 2023. We found a “home” there and got treated like “VIPs”. (I’m confident that EVERY Soul Hotel guest likely receives VIP TREATMENT, though.) Normally, I would not post a review because leaving a SUPER review has the potential to make it harder for me to find availability for my own stay. However, I see that recently there was posted a crazy review. People need to know that that review is baloney, and I don't believe one single word of it, and neither should you! I’m American and have stayed in hotels throughout the world, so I am quite experienced to say that there is a combination of factors that makes the Soul hotel one of my favorite hotels I have ever stayed in anywhere. The soul hotel is IMMACULATE. Not only is it clean, but it is also SAFE; the temperature controls in the room ALL work perfectly; the water pressure is SUPER; it is QUIET; the sheets and towels are new and high quality; it has a TERRIFIC breakfast; it’s a beautifully designed hotel with a lovely combination of antique and modern (see the photos)—BUT… incredibly----these are not even the best feature. THE BEST feature of the hotel is: its STAFF. They are ALL GOOD PEOPLE. The staff members really CARE about guests. They ALL speak English quite well and most speak other languages, too! They are trustworthy, knowledgeable, and helpful. When you combine all these elements together, it makes for a truly memorable experience that is even reasonably priced(!) On top of the pricing, the design, the excellent staff, the great food and immaculate cleanliness, THEN there's the LOCATION. The location of the hotel is right in the middle of the most charming part of Istanbul. There are antique shops and art galleries and coffee houses all around, and it’s even around the corner from the #1 Hammam Spa in Istanbul. It’s also located about 7 minutes walking distance from Istiklal Street, the major street where all the big shops are. There’s simply no better accommodations to be had in Istanbul. I invested an huge amount of time researching and vetting various hotels before choosing the Soul Hotel, and I chose entirely correctly. So, for free, you now get to benefit of all my investigations and experience, and I get to worry that I’ll have to fight you in the future for my own reservations. I wrote this because I couldn't ignore the reputation of this really fine establishment being attacked by crazy lies. Soul Hotel staff give their best for guests, and I feel obliged to stand-up against any bad things implied about this hotel. Soul Hotel is a CLASS ACT all the way.

The hotel worths the cost, it’s in a great location many spots around ya, ( restaurants, bars, clubs , supermarket , transportation). The service is wonderful, front office manager Mr. oner offered us a superior triple room instead of double. He’s very nice and friendly person. The breakfast is amazing, many choices. A Turkish girl and Azerbaijan guy ( my bad I did not remember their names) they are very welcoming and friendly people. I highly recommend this hotel

We were first checked into a much much smaller room, not what I’d booked. At least they moved us to our correct room, after pointing this out. Also, we’d asked a few times for something to be delivered to our room, staff said ‘yes’ but never helped with this, plus the room’s phone didn’t work too.

First of all I should say we were in Nova plaza hotel before we went to this hotel and Nova was nightmare as I said before. We was in Dora pera for 1night and it was incredible. The room was tidy and bathroom was great! The view of our room was picturesque seaside and we enjoyed alot.the staff are so polite and always answered our question with happy face. Unfortunately there was a receptionist that works in nights, that was not pretty polite and he wouldnt talk to the gusts so politely...he had goatee beard if you want who i say. Except him, all things were fantastic and we will be there soon if i hear the news that he would not be there more!

Our Stay at Doruk Palas Hotel was excellent. We were welcomed with a lot of warmth. Everyone, literally everyone at the hotel was so friendly and approachable. Our stay was hassle-free and with the amazing hospitality shown by all the staff, it was even more beautiful and comvenient. The view from our room was amazing. If given a choice, I would give 10 on 5 stars for the great service, warmth and friendliness of the staff. Mr. Ahmed is a gem of a person who would always take the time out to speak to all the guests including us and ensure we were comfortable. Not to forget the wonderful cat at the hotel who is fondly called as Mr. Osman. He is always calm and beautiful to watch. We would surely come back if we were to visit Istanbul again! :)

Great location & fairly new hotel, so everything was nice & clean. I am not sure if it'll stay like this after few years! It's right next to Istiklal Street which is the main shopping street, but hidden in a small ally to avoid all the noise of the hustle & bustle of the area. Fatih is the best one among the staff there. He's always helpful & speaks English pretty good, better than anyone else in the hotel. Breakfast was less than average. Room was nice & spacious & pretty equipped with everything needed, but we could still hear next door guests conversation due to thin walls. . It's not a luxury hotel. Overall experience was positive for what we paid.

Nobody writes that the hotel is located in the area of construction shops !!!! Toilets and not a single grocery store are sold on the streets around. There is nowhere even to buy water !!! Not to mention eating! There is no menu in the hotel to choose what to eat. The toothbrush with paste was brought from 4 times the next day, provided that we went down and said again! Having repeatedly said that you need 2 brushes! They brought one! Not critical, but in the reviews it was written that they give brushes, and therefore we did not take them with us. It took too long to get it, but it is impossible to buy it, again, there are no stores, except for construction and lighting. It is necessary to book a hotel closer to Istiklal Street or Galata Tower. It seems that we are not far away, BUT you need to walk at least a kilometer uphill with a good upward slope. Descending is not difficult, but ascending is very difficult. Or just take a taxi. About breakfasts, according to reviews, I assumed that we would like them, but no, the portions are very small, which is a rarity for Istanbul. Namely, boiled egg, cucumber, half a tomato, sliced sausage (plates 6-8), tea / coffee, one sausage in half for two, something made of dough with cheese the size of a sausage, cheese (two types, three pieces) , one slice of butter (again, all for two), and honey, too, in a very modest volume, apparently together you need to scoop out of the common dish with spoons. There is only one conclusion, do not save money, pay extra for the fact that you will not be forced to take a taxi up! All the same, we regretted that we had saved, especially in the end, took a taxi. The workers seem to be trying, but they don't have a menu, and when asked what kind of salad they have, they say it will make a repeat from what they have, because they just recently opened. They brought salad and manti and tea and it cost 70 lire (cabbage salad). But the girls / hotel staff tried to help, but unfortunately it cannot be helped. The location and menu doesn't depend on the employees, so there is no one to blame but yourself and those who left amazing reviews, based on which we stopped here. But then again, the miser pays twice.

What to start with the points in favour is located in a fabulous place in Istanbul, silent at night, clean rooms, courteous staff. Points in the disadvantage do not close the door, it seems kept on by miracle there is nothing right throughout the room, numbers of the electrician still on the walls lines of measurements everywhere uncomfortable bed but for 3 days it is tolerable, The coat looked like one of those Chinese stress-free puppets (not the shape but the content).It's suitable for who like us has stayed for 3 days.But I'll never return to it again.

Coming with friends for a two-night stay in Istanbul, we chose this hotel for its central location and attractive price. The receptionist was waiting for us outside despite a late arrival (2am). The room was very decent (1 bedroom with 2 double beds - 1 with 1 double bed), shower and sanitary facilities in excellent condition. The shower was even changed during our stay, to our great (but pleasant) surprise. Although the hotel is still under construction (finishing), we recommend it for anyone looking for a central place to sleep and be able to enjoy the city of Istanbul! (2 min walk from Galata Tower, its bars and restaurants)
