This hotel is located in a great area. Close to restaurants and bars and some sights. It's not too far of a walk to the train station. I would stay here again.

到步後比酒店的衛生程度嚇一跳 酒店的設施，感覺上比較殘舊 本來看見浴缸想浸浴 但花灑非常骯髒 用水沖會有黑色的雜質沖出來令水變黑色 洗澡時感覺到不安 距離最近的公交站比較近是他唯一的優點

If there were zero stars, that’s what I would choose. Worst hotel ever! Stayed her with EF/Go Ahead tours. A/C was broken for all three days. Temp outside was 85. No fans available. No mini fridge, no body lotion, no complimentary water in room. Loud music from street until 10:30pm. Could hear doors slamming and people talking in hallway. Breakfast limited choices with no chef cooking eggs to order. Kitchen staff over worked. No porter service to help with bags. Toilet in separate room. Shower and sink only had a curtain to separate it from bedroom….no door. If you’re sharing a room, could be a problem. It’s listed as a four star hotel. This hotel doesn’t deserve one star. Good location. Close to public transportation. Alex at the front desk was the best thing about this hotel. Room 213 faces alley and other rooms. Window opens but it’s too noisy to keep it open at night.

Bad experience. Personnel communicates very poorly. Got the wrong room - without the promised kitchenette. Hotel does not respond to any question, feedback. Very disappointing. The hotel is well located and easy walking distance. The beds are ok, bathrooms old and rooms very poorly lit.

- location: good for sightseeing, not far from the city centre. You can do a lot by foot. Also not far from train station. Lots of restaurants in the neighbourhood. Busy street with lots of street noise - room: simple, but has every basic need. If you want more luxury, you will have to chose a more expensive hotel. Hygiene 7/10 - breakfast: very simple and no variation throughout the days. Can be much better. - staff: the staff was friendly, but the manager was not professional. She had to deal with a difficult person in front of us and other guests and did not do this professionally at all.

Be careful with this hotel. I’m being charged over a thousand pounds to cancel or change the date with notice. So I’m concluding that they are only after money. They blame the type of booking that I made. I only saw one type of booking. So buyer beware.

We've stayed at the Velvet several times and have never been disappointed. We like to stay in rooms facing the rear because they are quiet. The front rooms have a spectacular view through large windows of a bustling corner in Mitte. Beds are comfortable, bathrooms are serviceable. The location is great for exploring Museum Island, Hackescher Markt, Unter den Linden and more.

Stayed in Arcotel Velvet Berlin on city trip with my wife in June 2023. Overall it was very enjoyable hotel. We stayed in suite, which had amazing views on the city with large windows, separate terrace entrace and plenty of space. Room had small kitchen area and had all the necessary equipment needed. Location is very central and public transportation stops are within short walking distance. Many good restaurants around the hotel as well. Room was really clean and everything was working. There is really little to complain, maybe only that some bits seemed a bit worn out and one of the large windows also had a crack in it. We did not use hotel breakfast, so no comments about that.
