Academia Resort

The really nice staff made us feel very welcome. If you're a good walker, you can walk to the Cita' Alta from the hotel. The rooms are bright, airy, and clean. Nice decor too. We had a room over the street, but the solid windows kept car traffic noise to a minimum. Overall, we were very happy with the hotel.

Our hotel was easily accessed from the airport by taking the number one bus to the university degli studi di Bergamo bus stop. Our room was what we call a serviced room. It had a shower, toilet, bidet, a kitchenette with refrigerator and microwave too. It was located in a residential with a nice bar just 50 meters away where you can get drinks, coffee and snacks. Breakfast is not included in the rate but, there are tea and coffee making facilities in the room. The room itself has air conditioning and is very quiet at nights too. The bed was comfortable as well. I would certainly recommend a short stay here.

Fantastic location, fantastic service, fantastic accomodation. Clean, modern rooms in the heart of Bergamo. Loving it! Quiet at night, with no clubs nearby is a great place if you like to get some sleep. Includes the shower, comfy beds and a fridge.

The accommodation is very well located for accessing both the Old and New Town. It is less than five minutes walk to a supermarket, bakery, and some coffee shops. It is located nearby two of the city's main art museums. Staying here gives you all of the facilities of the new Bergamo including easier access to the train station and bus routes but left you close to the historic sights of old Bergamo. The cleaning of the apartments is first class and the friendly, helpful approach of all of the staff makes staying here a joy. We shad a family room for 2 adults and 4 children. The cooking facilities include a hot plate and a microwave. More than enough to whip up simple meals but you won't be producing feasts. Some small items missing from the utensils, such as a bottle opener, but these are only quibbles.
