This was, without exaggeration, one of the worst resort experiences my family has ever had.
We booked a Garden View Room and traveled as a family with two parents and two minor children. Despite this, we were assigned a one-king-bed “honeymoon-style” room with a bathtub placed directly in front of the bed—a completely inappropriate and unacceptable setup for a family with children.
When we raised this issue, the front desk told us that there was nothing they could do other than offer a rollaway bed and advised us to complain to our travel agency instead. No ownership, no solution, no apology.
The room itself was damp, smelled musty, and the floors were dangerously slippery, creating a safety hazard. Calling the front desk was nearly impossible—our calls went unanswered for over an hour.
Transportation between buildings is a nightmare. The internal carts usually require 30 minutes or more of waiting, making basic movement around the resort exhausting.
Breakfast and lunch restaurants were overcrowded to the point of chaos, resembling a crowded street market rather than a luxury resort. Food quality and hygiene were shockingly poor—we witnessed serving tongs fall on the floor and simply be placed back for guest use.
The entire property feels old, neglected, and severely under-maintained. Broken wooden structures, visible trash, and deteriorating facilities are left unattended throughout the resort. Even the staff appear physically and emotionally exhausted, with little capacity left to show basic hospitality.
The room condition was by far the worst aspect, but honestly, every part of this resort feels overwhelmed and beyond repair.
This resort may look appealing in photos, but the reality is deeply disappointing. Do not bring your family here. This is not a luxury experience—this is a poorly managed, rundown property struggling to function.
