The hotel has recently been reformed. The room was comfortable, hosted 03 people with quietness. Great closet, hot shower with sunrise, satisfactory breakfast. nice and careful staff. Garage paid for the part. I recommend, I would be home again.

Located in a quiet and safe neighborhood where there are many small shops and restaurants. Nice modern design. Small pool on rooftop. Very good breakfast. The rooms are nicely decorated and have a lot of space. I recommend the junior suite as they are even more spacious. Most staff members are really nice. They do their best to make your stay as comfortable as possible. I had some small hiccups but I really appreciate their efforts to overcome these small issues. Some staff members do not speak English but you still can manage. Thanks to all the staff members and managers (Jessica, Lidia, Daniel etc.) who helped me have a great stay.

Great hotel! The room is not very large, but sufficient p to accommodate very well 1 person or 2 people with little baggage. I consider the location very good tb. The breakfast is very good and exceeded the expectation. It will worth the return of I need to host again in BHte!

It was a very disappointing experience. Room was not comfortable, there were 3 of us in the family and only one towel in the room. Room keys constantly failed to work and one of the elevators was not functioning, so every trip down could easily take 5-10 minutes just by waiting for the elevator. The building clearly needs refurbishment. Despite all this, the hotel is overpriced. Avoid it if you can, there are far better options in the city.

Summary: Novotel BH provides a comfortable stay, with an excellent on site restaurant, but some service quality issues with the front desk staff take the shine off the experience. The good: Room: room is large compared to other Novotel I have stayed at recently. Big, comfortable bed and a large, hot, high-pressure shower. Excellent black out curtains and in room AC. Nice views of the city as well and surrounding hills. I got to enjoy a spectacular lightning storm on my last night. Restaurant: the on site restaurant is excellent, so much so I left a seperate review for that. Sebastiao and the restaurant team are fantastic and so was the food. Housekeeping: thank you to the team for their excellent service each day. Including leaving me a nice note when they heard my guest was unwell the night before and provided new towels and sheets on request without any issues. The bad: Accor status recognition: there was no recognition of my gold status on check-in and the welcome gift was a strange keychain/bottle opener; rather than the standard water or food item that I would have much preferred. A welcome note was left in the room, but in Portuguese. Front desk: check-in was a rough experience. When I arrived there were four staff, none who were serving customers and they all nudged each other while giggling to gesture for someone else to serve me. This property does share an entrance with the adjacent Ibis Budget - from this experience I thought I may have entered the wrong hotel. There is extremely limited English spoken by the front desk staff as well, my check in was conducted via grunts and nods. Keycard: thankfully not as bad as my recent experience at the Novotel in Rio, but my keycard stopped working twice during my three night stay - forcing me to waste time going to the front desk. Conclusion: with some retraining and enhancements to the service provided by the front desk, this hotel could easily become a four star rating. Right now, it’s just average in my opinion.

Such a wonderful time spent at Hilton Garden inn! After almost 30 years without visiting my hometown I was greeted with a wonderful team! Thank you so much for making sure I was comfortable! You guys did everything to accommodate me ,to make me happy as I went to say my last goodbye to my mother… Thank you for everything you all did for me! In this time of sadness. I left happier than when I arrived! Everything was the way I expected: such a clean rooms! Spacious, slept like a angel! No noises at all! Amazing shower! (Just how I like) Felt like a waterfall! All though our language is português, everyone English spoken! So Awesome! Not to mention the beautiful city view! I consider now my HOME. I chose this hotel because it was a business trip and it was the closest to the commitment I had, but it is ”isolated” and is not close to the center of BH. The towels were clean, but they had a different and strange smell: the cover was excellent and the air worked super well, but there were tracks of travel bags rod in the white walls which I consider a bad pro room look. He was very dark, and as he was in a high floor, he had no noise, the fridge was working well and was very useful. I was expecting more of breakfast, basically with bread and few fruit and juice options. I was mad by the cheese bread, but it was cold, and the lucky is that the coffee starts early at 6:00, so for those who have a good deal. Finally, it was true for me because it was only a day-to-day and it was a business trip.

Hotel is super well located. Very clean and friendly staff. Great breakfast. Garage leaves a little to desire ... mainly in bigger cars. In general, the hotel is very good.

Very good hotel, with great service (we had problems in the lock that were quickly resolved), excellent cleaning, well served breakfast, quiet parking, easy location and close trade (via Brazil and some pizzaries, I had no problem with the bedroom, but Renata was a little strange. One point goes to the acoustic isolation of the rooms, from which no external noise is heard, even in front of the street. I recommend, especially for those who intend to visit the Pampulha region, great cost x benefit!

The hotel has a beautiful view, the parking costs 30 reals per night, but if you have a very big car, it will be difficult to get in. I was given a room in the ground and I couldn't sleep by the noise: night clear. The details: blackout shaved, small low-bed that did not fork the bed, completely dirty and grodent air control. The staff at the reception are very educated and available, because the manager is everything but manager: disappointing and inconvenient. I will not return and I will not recommend!
