We stayed here for the weekend of our wedding anniversary and it was a lovely hotel. From the minute we set foot at reception, we found the staff to be efficient and friendly. The hotel has a nice bar area too and its about a 2 minute walk from all the attractions of the cathedral quarter. The standard room was great. It was Clean, modern and quiet. All the usual hotel things like tv, en-suite (which again was clean and the shower was great). Our room was at the back of the hotel and while not a fantastic view, it was nice to see the H&W cranes in the distance and despite a busy road outside and a railway line, the noise was minimal. Breakfast was nice although the only option for the eggs were scrambled, however im sure if I'd asked they'd have done me a poached or fried egg. Its a buffet style breakfast and if I have only one criticism, its that it wasnt topped up as well as it could be. The staples like bacon etc were topped up, but pastries and the continental selection were kind of sp**** and not topped up each morning we were there. That aside, there was plenty to eat and drink and a nice touch is the takeout cups. It meant I could take a coffee on my travels which is great and saves a few quid from the coffee shops etc. I look forward to returning to the Ramada again as it was a lovely experience. Thank you also for the voucher for a glass of wine free for my wife and I because it was our anniversary. That was a lovely touch.

The location is good, Belfast City Hall, Titanic Museum and many other attractions are within walking distance, which is convenient for sightseeing. The room is spacious and clean, and the 1.3-meter-wide bed is a bit crowded for two people.

Arrived in a taxi from the airport and Checked in around 3pm. The reception staff were very alert to guest arriving from the front door. Jennifer at reception checked me in very efficiently, advised me of the breakfast times and asked if I would like to book a slot. Shortly afterwards gave me an information sheet and I was off to my room. The Room I was in was the standard king with city view. The room was bigger than expected. It had everything you need. A king bed, a large tv, enough space to put my belongings, a spacious 3 piece toilet with amenities and floor to ceiling windows which had view as far as the hills beyond. We had dinner that night at the hotel restaurant called Novelli at city quays. A separate review is on their trip advisor page. That night we ended up in the bar after going out exploring. I decided to have some gin and asked what they recommended. One of the nice bartender advised the short cross gin which I never tried and is now becoming one of my favourites. Am sorry I never caught your name. But Paul who was also working that night rang it through the till should know who you are. Paul was great too, he was kept very busy that night. Everyone was great. Special mention to Mary who remembered what I drank when I asked for another. Morning came and so did breakfast. There was a large variety of hot and cold food. From sausages, bacon and eggs, to toast, cheese and ham. Also plenty of tea, coffee and juices to choose from. Next time I come back I will make sure I book an upgraded room with a view of the river. Overall a fantastic night that couldn’t be faulted. Well recommend.

Been staying in Hilton in Belfast for couple days, I really liked hotel, lovely staff, nice food , nice rooms, the only thing I really didn’t liked, how rooms is being cleaned during your stay, if you can even say they are clean because seems that staff only empty bins and change towels and that’s it, during 4 days nothing else was cleaned, dusts wasn’t cleaned, bathroom wasn’t washed even thought it was dirty , toothpaste in sink and hairs on the floor, shower glass dirty, bathroom dirty , staff that supposed to clean it but just left it like that, didn’t even hoovered bathroom floors. I never been in hotel with such a bad housekeeping. This is really a shame because everything else about hotel I really loved.

My recent breakfast experience at this hotel had its ups and downs. First, the baby high chair was disappointingly dirty, even after I spent a considerable amount of time wiping it down with wet wipes, as seen in the pictures. The cleanliness standards should definitely be improved. As for the breakfast service, it left much to be desired. It felt like there was only one server handling everything, and it took a whopping 20 minutes for a simple yogurt to be served. I'm confident I could have prepared it in two minutes myself. Plus, the portion of yogurt was quite small, and the oatmeal was almost inedibly dry. However, I must admit that the full breakfast option redeemed the dining experience. In summary, while the full breakfast was enjoyable, the cleanliness of the baby high chair and the slow service for basic items like yogurt need significant improvement.

Stayed at Hampton for 3 days and overall was a good experience. The hotel was nice and clean with friendly staff. Bed was comfortable. Good quality shampoo, conditioner, body and hand wash was available. The hotel is very conveniently located in which you could walk 2 minutes round the back to the Europa bus station. Everything and everywhere were very accessible with lots of restaurants and bars towards Queen’s University. Breakfast was reasonable in which you had a good amount of choice but unlike some hotels where there would be greater selection but for me it was sufficient. I did however witness some very unpleasant antics from some people staying at the hotel in which they seem to have no hygiene standards with the food. Overall it was a good experience at the hotel and Belfast was a fantastic city to visit. The city exceeded my expectations as it was very clean and friendly with a extremely chilled atmosphere.

I just spent two nights at ETAP Belfast and I can’t say anything bad about it! Though the rooms are small, it’s fair for the price! What is the best in this hotel is the staff! Always cheerful and keen to help, really professional! Especially Nathan, the receptionist that was working when I arrived! So polite and always making small talk which is very good and makes us feel comfortable. He is the cherry on top of the cake, if there’s any chance make sure he knows about it! He made my 3 day holiday worth it. Thank you Nathan 😍

Stayed here in March, 2023, and could not fault anything whatsoever. The hotel is in a very central location, within easy walking distance of all the main tourist attractions. Rooms were large and well maintained and the breakfast buffet offered a wide choice. Whilst often the hot elements of hotel buffets are served warm/lukewarm at best, here the hot buffet was served very hot and the quality of the ingredients was excellent. Final word must be regarding the staff. All the staff we interacted with, from the booking team through to the front desk staff, were absolutely first class and they could not do enough to assist you, from our need to change the dates of our booking due to a cancelled flight, right through to arranging a taxi back to the airport for us. All the staff were a real credit to the company and give an excellent impression, from a customer service perspective.

Very good, especially like its room and bedding, it is newly renovated. The breakfast is delicious and has a wide variety. I will come again next time I come to Birmingham. Birmingham's canal witnessed the industrial revolution of this city. It is recommended to take a canal boat (11:00, 14:00, 15:30) and buy a ticket on the boat, only 6.8 pounds, at the Gallica Pier, you can have a drink at will 🍺. I will come to Birmingham next time!

GGuest UserDespite phoning in advance to advise he would be checking in around 2am, the hotel reception told my son there were only three rooms left with 5 people trying to check in, the room was paid for in advance to ensure availability. As a result some may have to go elsewhere. Luckily for him he secured a room, however when he entered the room there was already someone sleeping in the room. After a long journey this is not the level of service expected of a hotel like the Europa, not to mention the safety of the guest already sleeping in the room was compromised.

GGuest UserWe arrived late on Friday - around 10pm - and was very tired so disappointed to discover the volume of music being played in the foyer/bar area. However, we checked in with ease and given a little paper bag with tea bags, coffee and milk. There are 4 floors and our room was on floor 3. The room was certainly small as the elevator shaft essentially took up a big chunk of our room. This unfortunately meant that any time someone used the elevator, we heard the pings and the comedy Belfast voice they play when you get to a floor. I called reception and asked when the music was played until - and I was told 1pm. Shame as we wanted to sleep and its all we could hear - and feel. The bass was that powerful that you could feel it 3 floors up! Don't get me wrong - it's a cracking hotel in a great spot - but don't stay here if you want to get a good nights sleep. It's a party hotel really. The service was great and the staff were lovely. Breakfast options were great and the pastries were delicious.

GGuest UserMy 50th Birthday Titanic experience. An amazing experience, friendly staff from the minute you walk in. Rooms are very clean and themed to a high standard. I had a happy birthday card and tray with macaroons, small things really mean a lot. Bed was comfortable and warm. Was clean and cleaned daily. The meals were hearty and delicious, really filling you up. Breakfast was superb, a buffet style with both cereal and cooked breakfast. Lots to choose from, so even the fussiest of dinners will have something they like. The authentic designs throughout the hotel really sets the scene. The drawing room with the bar is stunning, so bright and airy. The staff were very attentive and David (the barman), really was friendly and always took time to chat and make you feel welcoming. This hotel really is the best I have stayed in and I look forward to returning.

JjamesHotel was nice and clean. A little on the expensive side for drinks. Breakfast was average and a expensive for the quality. The hotel restaurant ( la scala) was a whole different level. Food was amazing. Especially the lamb shank. My wife had the chicken which was done to perfection. If you are going for a quiet trip then this hotel might be for you. If you are going as part of a trip to Belfast City then it's very far out from the city. About 20 pounds in each direction.

GGuest UserThe room I stayed in was a business-style suite facing the main road. It was big and comfortable with a nice bathroom and tea/coffee facilities. There is free, covered parking at the back which was useful. The windows opened which was good as it was dry and hot in the room. I could not get the TV to work other than BBC World although eventually I managed to tweak the box and get it to work. The room furnishing was incredibly dark (wallpaper, curtains and light covers were all in dark material). I had to ask the reception to replace a broken bulb in one of the ceiling lights and the bedsit lights were so dark it was impossible to read by them. The cleaning of the room was a bit hit or miss and there were cigarette butts permanently stuck out of the external butt holder right by the front door. The housekeeper did pop by and apologise. The staff at reception were helpful and pleasant and when prompted sorted out the necessary issues.

When I read about this hotel, I thought it was a fantastic idea. A no-frills, self-check in hotel in the heart of Belfast for a reasonable price - what could go wrong? We arrived for our weekend stay at 3:20pm, right around peak check-in time. Approaching the hotel, it seemed a 'booking confirmation code' was not sent to us. No problem, we'll ask a member of staff at the bar. We were told ”they don't work for the hotel” and that we'll have to use the phone next to the kiosk provided - no problem! We rang TEN TIMES and not a single answer from their 'check in desk'. Every call from that phone went to Vodafone voicemail. Not a single person at peak check-in on a Saturday? Eventually, after 40 mins, a bar staff member came over, fiddled with a tablet, and checked us in - not a great start. We were offered the highest room in the hotel. Fantastic, beautiful city views - NOT. We arrived at a tiny window (a ship would have a bigger one) and all we could see is the hotel's HVAC system - wafting smoke into our room! With the window closed the room was a literal sauna - our thermometer said 25.6c! We were left a simple box fan, and both nights we barely slept. The decor of the room was minimalist and elegant, but the bathroom, oh the bathroom. I've attached a photo of the toilet. What genius decided to put it 5cm from the door? The sink was so low down you had to crouch to wash your face - it needed another 50cm at least. The fire door leading up to the landing of our floor was also very clearly stiff - you'd need to be a linebacker to carry your suitcase and open it at the same time. It's frustrating because the hotel itself was clean, and cozy, and the bar downstairs was an absolute treat to dine in. Unfortunately, a brilliant idea, let down by poor execution.

MMENGNAIt is located in the city center, not far from the town hall, and easy to walk to the central railway station. The hotel’s 2nd floor swimming pool and health room are free for guests, as well as discounts for local students and residents. Very human. There is also a sauna, steaming is rarely comfortable. The room is very spacious, but unfortunately there is no refrigerator. Estimated to be environmentally friendly! Provide shower gel, shampoo and soap. Originally booked Obel 64 on Belfasts riverside for a short stay to celebrate my husband's birthday. Had our transport, restaurants and itinerary for our trip all pre planned and most of it pre booked prior to arriving only to have a message late the night before travelling to tell us they moved our reservation to another location due to ”unforseen circumstances” no other explanation. St Thomas Hall was the opposite side of the city centre to where we should have been staying and there was apparently no other options for relocating us and it was also non refundable. I therefore spent the night prior to travelling, rather than getting a good night sleep, cancelling/amending all our travel arrangements for the whole trip, and reorganising our restaurants and itinerary. Although they upgraded our room to include an extra bedroom, I ended up spending much more money because of the additional transport and cancellation/amendment fees. The good bits - reception staff I spoke to to get key code was friendly and polite, accessing the apartment was easy, the apartment itself was spacious, modern and clean. I had organised a birthday package on arrival for extra which included prosecco, a cake, balloons and banners which was very nicely done 👍, the beds and sofas were comfortable and the bathroom and kitchen had everything we needed, there were some take away and sit in food establishments nearby including a mini coop, regular buses to city centre from bus stop just down from apartment. The not so good bits - no longer had the river view or the main attractions within a reasonable walking distance for my 9 year old son (which were the whole reason I booked Obel 64), ALL the internal doors were so loud/squeaky and no door stoppers provided to prop them open which was not so good through the night, there were only 2 pillows provided per double bed and may as well not have had any as they were so flat and thin, one of the bedroom door handles was loose and threatening to fall off, as the property is on a main road there was so much loud traffic right into the early hours and the windows didn't do much to dampen the noise (should have brought my ear plugs). Overall experience was very mixed. The apartment itself was comfortable enough and served the needs we had for our short stay, however, it's absolutely not the property or location I would have booked for our particular stay and having read other reviews it seems to be a regular thing which is very worrying and it was a very stressful experience. On that basis I'd be wary booking again.
