Spouter Inn Bed & Breakfast

We returned to the Spouter Inn in February 2024. It's our second visit with new owners Mark and Tracy. They are simply the best hosts. Period, full stop! Casual and refined, they make sure your stay is incredibly welcoming and comfortable. We stayed int the Crow's nest. It's a spacious room with couch overlooking Pennobscot Bay and the Lincolnville Ferry Terminal. The breakfast each day was truly amazing. Tracy is a master at elevating comfort foods. Each day you are offered a three-course meal. Each afternoon freshly baked cookies were available. Thank you for an incredible stay. We can't wait to return!

My wife and I stayed at Spouter Inn B&B this past weekend and had such a wonderful time with Tracy and Mark. The new owners were terrific. They would graciously greet us whenever they saw us and were generous with everything. The food, coffee, water, recommendations, conversation... We dined at the Lobster Pound Friday, the first night we arrived - casual and a perfect lobster pound experience when you are looking for the freshest lobster and seafood. Saturday night we dined at Aster & Rose - it was highly recommended by Mark and Tracy, and we had already made a reservation based on Trip Advisor. Their recommendation was very helpful, and they were happy to share their dining experience as well. We arrived at 6:45pm and I would recommend that time as after 7pm there were no tables available... Aster & Rose has all the great recommendations, and I am happy to add another. The dinner was wonderful. My wife's steak was cooked perfectly, and my halibut was also amazing. The chef came by and talked to us after dinner as we were telling the waiter that we were so happy with our meals. My picture attached is of Lincolnville Beach. I think this spot is one of the most picturesque on the Maine coast and I have been visiting Lincolnville, Camden, Rockport and Rockland for many years. A great room and accommodations, gourmet breakfast each morning, and a beautiful view of Lincolnville Beach. Watched a college Holiday football game in the living room. Innkeepers are welcoming and delightful.

Mark and Tracy are friendly, engaging, and immediately make you feel like family. Tracy’s breakfasts are to die for. Everything fresh and homemade. Mark has done an incredible job maintaining the beautiful New England home built in the 1800s, right down to the rocking chairs on the front porch I could rock there for hours gazing at the sea. We hope to be able to visit with them again soon - maybe staying longer.

Our three day trip to the Camden area was almost a disaster. Our first B and B was a little deceptive in their advertising and would have been a nightmare for us. Luckily they made a couple of phone calls and we then found ourselves at the Spouter Inn in Lincolnville Beach. To say we had a great time is an understatement. Tracy and Mark are two of the best innkeepers we have ever had. Any questions we had were quickly answered and if there were any requests, they were taken care of immediately. Accommodations were wonderful and the breakfasts (three courses each morning) were nothing less than spectacular. All the little touches were done with their guests in mind. Even the fact that it was right tin Route 1 never bothered us. It is a gem!!!

The absolute best B & B, the whole package! Mark and Tracy are wonderful hosts wanting our trip to Maine be the best. The breakfast's are amazing, you won't need lunch. We were a group of 6 adults and all agreed the beds were comfortable with wonderful linens. The view was beautiful looking out over the bay on the porch or sitting around the fire pit. Three nights and wanted to stay longer! Great location - 5 min to Camden and 10 to Belfast, without the congestion or noise of the other two towns. Absolutely the best!

Wonderful location, which we chose as a base to explore other coastal towns nearby such as Camden and Belfast. The hosts were lovely, and the gourmet 3 course breakfast served daily was simply amazing. The home was charming, and cozy and filled with everything that made the stay delightful. Walking across the street to a lobster dinner on the water was an added bonus. We’d love to return to the Spouter Inn.

Just left a little slice of heaven at The Spouter Inn. Loved the scenic views of the Penobscot Bay, excursions to picturesque lighthouses, local shopping and dining. Best of all, the wonderful hospitality shown by the ultimate inn keepers, Mark and Tracy was amazing! They went over and beyond to make sure we had an enjoyable stay. Last but not least, the hot breakfasts were delicious!

Excellent B&B!! Mark and Tracy were excellent hosts and the Spouter Inn is well kept, VERY CLEAN, beautifully decorated and very inviting. The bed room was very comfortable! Breakfast was fantastic, very fresh, we wish we could have stayed longer. The inn is located directly across from the water and with the beautiful front porch made an excellent place to sit, have a cup of coffee and watch the sun rise. It's location makes it an easy drive to go up and down the coast for site seeing. A very relaxing B&B. We plan to visit again in the future but, stay longer.
