Excellent service from.the staff. Room is large, modern, well furnished, absolutely brilliant.
Bathroom is great too.
Only negative is the pool area, too busy, the shower there is freezing cold and the pool water is also quite cold to be enjoyed. Both saunas were always full during my visits.

Stayed here in March, 2023, and could not fault anything whatsoever. The hotel is in a very central location, within easy walking distance of all the main tourist attractions. Rooms were large and well maintained and the breakfast buffet offered a wide choice. Whilst often the hot elements of hotel buffets are served warm/lukewarm at best, here the hot buffet was served very hot and the quality of the ingredients was excellent. Final word must be regarding the staff. All the staff we interacted with, from the booking team through to the front desk staff, were absolutely first class and they could not do enough to assist you, from our need to change the dates of our booking due to a cancelled flight, right through to arranging a taxi back to the airport for us. All the staff were a real credit to the company and give an excellent impression, from a customer service perspective.

I just spent two nights at ETAP Belfast and I can’t say anything bad about it! Though the rooms are small, it’s fair for the price! What is the best in this hotel is the staff! Always cheerful and keen to help, really professional! Especially Nathan, the receptionist that was working when I arrived! So polite and always making small talk which is very good and makes us feel comfortable. He is the cherry on top of the cake, if there’s any chance make sure he knows about it! He made my 3 day holiday worth it. Thank you Nathan 😍

Stayed at Hampton for 3 days and overall was a good experience. The hotel was nice and clean with friendly staff. Bed was comfortable.
Good quality shampoo, conditioner, body and hand wash was available.
The hotel is very conveniently located in which you could walk 2 minutes round the back to the Europa bus station. Everything and everywhere were very accessible with lots of restaurants and bars towards Queen’s University.
Breakfast was reasonable in which you had a good amount of choice but unlike some hotels where there would be greater selection but for me it was sufficient. I did however witness some very unpleasant antics from some people staying at the hotel in which they seem to have no hygiene standards with the food.
Overall it was a good experience at the hotel and Belfast was a fantastic city to visit. The city exceeded my expectations as it was very clean and friendly with a extremely chilled atmosphere.

Probably the best thing about the hotel is the location, it’s close to everything you need as a tourist. The WiFi is also very good. However, the facility is average and there a few stuffs worn out in the room. Needs some upgrade.

My recent breakfast experience at this hotel had its ups and downs. First, the baby high chair was disappointingly dirty, even after I spent a considerable amount of time wiping it down with wet wipes, as seen in the pictures. The cleanliness standards should definitely be improved.
As for the breakfast service, it left much to be desired. It felt like there was only one server handling everything, and it took a whopping 20 minutes for a simple yogurt to be served. I'm confident I could have prepared it in two minutes myself. Plus, the portion of yogurt was quite small, and the oatmeal was almost inedibly dry. However, I must admit that the full breakfast option redeemed the dining experience.
In summary, while the full breakfast was enjoyable, the cleanliness of the baby high chair and the slow service for basic items like yogurt need significant improvement.

Been staying in Hilton in Belfast for couple days, I really liked hotel, lovely staff, nice food , nice rooms, the only thing I really didn’t liked, how rooms is being cleaned during your stay, if you can even say they are clean because seems that staff only empty bins and change towels and that’s it, during 4 days nothing else was cleaned, dusts wasn’t cleaned, bathroom wasn’t washed even thought it was dirty , toothpaste in sink and hairs on the floor, shower glass dirty, bathroom dirty , staff that supposed to clean it but just left it like that, didn’t even hoovered bathroom floors. I never been in hotel with such a bad housekeeping. This is really a shame because everything else about hotel I really loved.

Arrived in a taxi from the airport and Checked in around 3pm. The reception staff were very alert to guest arriving from the front door. Jennifer at reception checked me in very efficiently, advised me of the breakfast times and asked if I would like to book a slot. Shortly afterwards gave me an information sheet and I was off to my room. The Room I was in was the standard king with city view. The room was bigger than expected. It had everything you need. A king bed, a large tv, enough space to put my belongings, a spacious 3 piece toilet with amenities and floor to ceiling windows which had view as far as the hills beyond. We had dinner that night at the hotel restaurant called Novelli at city quays. A separate review is on their trip advisor page. That night we ended up in the bar after going out exploring. I decided to have some gin and asked what they recommended. One of the nice bartender advised the short cross gin which I never tried and is now becoming one of my favourites. Am sorry I never caught your name. But Paul who was also working that night rang it through the till should know who you are. Paul was great too, he was kept very busy that night. Everyone was great. Special mention to Mary who remembered what I drank when I asked for another. Morning came and so did breakfast. There was a large variety of hot and cold food. From sausages, bacon and eggs, to toast, cheese and ham. Also plenty of tea, coffee and juices to choose from. Next time I come back I will make sure I book an upgraded room with a view of the river. Overall a fantastic night that couldn’t be faulted. Well recommend.

From the minute you set foot in this beautifully-restored period property, you know that your stay at The Regency is going to be memorable. We stayed in a two-bedroom apartment which felt simultaneously spacious and cosy – no mean feat! The exquisite decor of this apartment has to be experienced to be believed - it is opulent, elegant and oh so comfortable. We felt as if we had stepped back in time yet also enjoyed all mod cons right down to the remote-controlled gas fire most welcome on a grey, wet evening. Our apartment had everything we could possibly need from glassware to tableware and cooking utensils - the DeLonghi coffee machine was a lovely touch. The bathrooms are sheer luxury and the fluffy white bathrobes made us feel as if we were in a five-star hotel but with ten times the space. Each bedroom has been furnished in its own individual style and the extremely comfortable pillows and beds guaranteed a good night's sleep. Should you tire of catering for yourself, the Regency offers a full concierge service and its superb location means that you are within easy striking distance of the city centre and a plethora of restaurants, bars, cafes in addition to many cultural attractions. On the other hand, you could just curl up on the super-comfy sofa, select an LP to play on the retro record player, and with a glass of something cheerful in your hand, congratulate yourself on having come across this unique (overused but 100% true in this case) gem of an apartment
AAnonymous UserThe Europa in my opinion has got quite tired and is in bed of a revamp of the Bedrooms … especially the executive rooms .. also the cleaning of the rooms is hit & miss .. pull out the beds and there is old debris .. no sanitary disposable bags in bathrooms - the complimentary tea/coffee tray is an absolute disgrace and so basic that I don’t know why they bother .. the complimentary water is room temperature and no fridges in rooms .. I have no idea why they have the star rating it has ..the standard is not what would be expected of such a hotel Which I feel is basking in the glow of years gone by .. and the prices are overly inflated… Come on Hastings you can do much better than this??
JjamesHotel was nice and clean. A little on the expensive side for drinks. Breakfast was average and a expensive for the quality. The hotel restaurant ( la scala) was a whole different level. Food was amazing. Especially the lamb shank. My wife had the chicken which was done to perfection. If you are going for a quiet trip then this hotel might be for you. If you are going as part of a trip to Belfast City then it's very far out from the city. About 20 pounds in each direction.
GGuest UserWe arrived late on Friday - around 10pm - and was very tired so disappointed to discover the volume of music being played in the foyer/bar area. However, we checked in with ease and given a little paper bag with tea bags, coffee and milk. There are 4 floors and our room was on floor 3. The room was certainly small as the elevator shaft essentially took up a big chunk of our room. This unfortunately meant that any time someone used the elevator, we heard the pings and the comedy Belfast voice they play when you get to a floor.
I called reception and asked when the music was played until - and I was told 1pm. Shame as we wanted to sleep and its all we could hear - and feel. The bass was that powerful that you could feel it 3 floors up!
Don't get me wrong - it's a cracking hotel in a great spot - but don't stay here if you want to get a good nights sleep. It's a party hotel really.
The service was great and the staff were lovely. Breakfast options were great and the pastries were delicious.
GGuest UserMy 50th Birthday Titanic experience. An amazing experience, friendly staff from the minute you walk in. Rooms are very clean and themed to a high standard. I had a happy birthday card and tray with macaroons, small things really mean a lot. Bed was comfortable and warm. Was clean and cleaned daily. The meals were hearty and delicious, really filling you up. Breakfast was superb, a buffet style with both cereal and cooked breakfast. Lots to choose from, so even the fussiest of dinners will have something they like. The authentic designs throughout the hotel really sets the scene. The drawing room with the bar is stunning, so bright and airy. The staff were very attentive and David (the barman), really was friendly and always took time to chat and make you feel welcoming. This hotel really is the best I have stayed in and I look forward to returning.
GGuest UserWe stayed here for the weekend of our wedding anniversary and it was a lovely hotel. From the minute we set foot at reception, we found the staff to be efficient and friendly. The hotel has a nice bar area too and its about a 2 minute walk from all the attractions of the cathedral quarter. The standard room was great. It was Clean, modern and quiet. All the usual hotel things like tv, en-suite (which again was clean and the shower was great). Our room was at the back of the hotel and while not a fantastic view, it was nice to see the H&W cranes in the distance and despite a busy road outside and a railway line, the noise was minimal. Breakfast was nice although the only option for the eggs were scrambled, however im sure if I'd asked they'd have done me a poached or fried egg. Its a buffet style breakfast and if I have only one criticism, its that it wasnt topped up as well as it could be. The staples like bacon etc were topped up, but pastries and the continental selection were kind of sp**** and not topped up each morning we were there. That aside, there was plenty to eat and drink and a nice touch is the takeout cups. It meant I could take a coffee on my travels which is great and saves a few quid from the coffee shops etc. I look forward to returning to the Ramada again as it was a lovely experience. Thank you also for the voucher for a glass of wine free for my wife and I because it was our anniversary. That was a lovely touch.
When I read about this hotel, I thought it was a fantastic idea. A no-frills, self-check in hotel in the heart of Belfast for a reasonable price - what could go wrong? We arrived for our weekend stay at 3:20pm, right around peak check-in time. Approaching the hotel, it seemed a 'booking confirmation code' was not sent to us. No problem, we'll ask a member of staff at the bar. We were told ”they don't work for the hotel” and that we'll have to use the phone next to the kiosk provided - no problem! We rang TEN TIMES and not a single answer from their 'check in desk'. Every call from that phone went to Vodafone voicemail. Not a single person at peak check-in on a Saturday? Eventually, after 40 mins, a bar staff member came over, fiddled with a tablet, and checked us in - not a great start. We were offered the highest room in the hotel. Fantastic, beautiful city views - NOT. We arrived at a tiny window (a ship would have a bigger one) and all we could see is the hotel's HVAC system - wafting smoke into our room! With the window closed the room was a literal sauna - our thermometer said 25.6c! We were left a simple box fan, and both nights we barely slept. The decor of the room was minimalist and elegant, but the bathroom, oh the bathroom. I've attached a photo of the toilet. What genius decided to put it 5cm from the door? The sink was so low down you had to crouch to wash your face - it needed another 50cm at least. The fire door leading up to the landing of our floor was also very clearly stiff - you'd need to be a linebacker to carry your suitcase and open it at the same time. It's frustrating because the hotel itself was clean, and cozy, and the bar downstairs was an absolute treat to dine in. Unfortunately, a brilliant idea, let down by poor execution.
SShining_NWA nice place to stay in when we visited belfast and causeway of northern. It is closed to the Belfast city hall and Europa buscenter which is very convenient to visit around. The room is clean and the staffs are friendly.
MMENGNAIt is located in the city center, not far from the town hall, and easy to walk to the central railway station. The hotel’s 2nd floor swimming pool and health room are free for guests, as well as discounts for local students and residents. Very human. There is also a sauna, steaming is rarely comfortable. The room is very spacious, but unfortunately there is no refrigerator. Estimated to be environmentally friendly! Provide shower gel, shampoo and soap. Slippers, toothbrushes, toothpaste are not available.
GGuest UserApartments were lovely but will never ever go again checked out 7 days ago still haven’t gotten my deposit back, I was not told about the deposit until I was checking in, I was told it was a preauthorisation and would get it a few days after I checked out upon checking out I was told it would be 2 weeks (by a different person) 7 days later no refund it’s January and bills have to be paid so I am not happy! I was also told I had to pay for parking upon check in again nothing on the website about this. A disgrace trying to get money out of people after they have already paid for their trip. Might I also add I emailed regarding the deposit 4 days ago And no one in dream apartments bothered to reply to my email I understand in retail it’s busy but 4 days later no reply what a joke I will never recommend this place to stay ever to anyone
