Pros: location, beach access, fire pit w/wood at night, back door to view ocean, had a few unique touches for guests. Bathroom had been updated.spacious room.
Cons: dated room, bedding, decor.

Peaceful and quiet. The room, and bathroom both looked recently remodeled, but everything looked like it belonged. The private deck was very nice.

In my particular case, I was happy to get a room very close to the office. I am handicapped for several reasons and found the bathroom, even being small, equipped enough for me to function. Step in shower, several grip bars, as well as adjustable shower head. The height was a bit high for me, but there was a 2nd position holder for the shower head. The wall mounted seat was also very helpful. I had forgot to request a handicap room when I made my reservation. So thankful one was available. The hot apple cider was very good.! Thank you.

My husband & I like colonial Gables because the staff is very friendly & cabins are nice & clean & it’s quiet & relaxing plus the view is beautiful.

I booked what i thought was an ocean front cabin however with booking 3 months in advance that was not the case. Website is a bit misleading as to the definition of 'Ocean Front'. You could see the water from our cabin towards the rear of all the other cabins. That would be my only complaint. The cabins are spacious and comfortable, clean upon checkin. Our unit had a full size refrigerator and adequately appointed kitchen.

My wife and I really liked the Colonial. Our unit had a separate deck from which to look southward over the bay. The room was in immaculate condition and those at the office desk were polite and helpful. Best tub ever! Highly recommended.
