Ariva Beijing West Hotel & Serviced Apartments Reviews

Location is not that convenient, but the service was good. I was surprised by a special dessert prepared that was placed in thw room on my second day of stay which really made my day. On balance will still recommend this hotel to others.

I have been a regular at Ariva for last 10 years. It’s a 4 star property which you could easily mistake for 5 star, but that was before the pandemic. After the pandemic, their service quality had dropped significantly. We returned to China and had 5 pieces of big suitcase plus additional hand luggage. Guess what, we were told there is no person who can help us to carry the luggage to our rooms. After repeated reminder, one boy named Tommy who looked like a trainee helped to carry the luggage to the room. Same thing happened at checkout. The reception person was straight and honest “we don’t have a person available who can help you with the luggage”. I had to take 4 rounds to carry the luggage down by myself. And we are talking of a property which is rated as 4 star!! I felt sad, perhaps the hotel had a hard time during the pandemic and was still recovering from bad financial situation that they don’t have full service staff yet. The reception staff, all were trainees from colleges. In terms of facilities, its still a good place. They have swimming pool, gym, spa and every room I have stayed here is spacious and has a bathtub. I have always loved their Aviva center on 6th floor which has DIY kitchen and laundry area which helps if you are staying for long duration or are traveling with kids. I haven’t lost faith and hope Ariva will have its glory days once again.

I stayed with my family for ten nights. It was very convenient to have a lot of space in the room and there were plenty of options to get food close to the hotel. Unfortunately, the room was not very clean and the furniture not in the condition you would expect from a hotel in this price range.

Hotel a bit old but very functional

Good value for the price, amenities are great, but rooms can be a little dark at night. Good space for business travellers.

The hotel is nice, the room is spacious, the service is great, the location is convenient, close to the subway, Zhongguancun, Renmin University, etc.

The layout of the hotel room is very special. It is a two-story duplex with tall windows and an unobstructed view of the Western Mountains in the distance. The staff are friendly and helpful, especially Lily and Elsa at the front desk and other waiters. The location of the hotel is very good, not far from the subway station. The original plan was to only stay for two days, but then I ended up staying for another three days.

Lily, knight, the service attitude is good, I am very satisfied, the environment is good, two floors, the room is large, the hygiene is good, and the surrounding environment is also good.

The room facilities are really old. You can see the glory in 2000, but 20 years have passed and there has been no upgrade. The equipment is aging, the bathroom is leaking, the wallpaper is peeling off, the sockets are old, and the TV is not even smart! Except for the bad hardware, everything else is okay and the service is good.

The hotel service is very good. I temporarily postponed my check-out until three o'clock, but Anya from the hotel agreed without saying a word and didn't push me. The location is also good, not far from the Old Summer Palace and the Summer Palace.

It really made me laugh. After I extended my stay, I informed the front desk clearly, but then the hotel front desk pretended not to know and did not clean the room for two days in a row. Then I received a call in the afternoon asking me if I didn't stay in the hotel yesterday? Then I, who came to stay with you yesterday, am a ghost, right? I went back and asked the front desk. The man looked indifferent and said that the waiter who cleaned yesterday didn't see me staying. I'm really curious about which hotel relies on the waiter to clean the hotel to judge whether the customer can stay? I asked the front desk to check the reservation record. If the reservation was not until Sunday, I said you should take a look again, and then the follow-up order was displayed with just one click of the mouse. So the front desk just doesn't bother to care about the tenants' affairs, and they just look like they're just taking money to eat and sleep. If you don’t believe it, you can give it a try.

I stayed with my wife and the hotel upgraded me to an executive duplex king-size bed suite for free. It was on the 15th executive floor. The view was pretty good and the gym was OK. The couple booked the room for one night.

The service is in place, the sanitary conditions are good, and the environment is beautiful. I found it online, but I felt that the score was low. The online reviews generally showed that I went to other hotels. I thought it was not good, so I wanted to try Hailihua again. This place is really good, and there are The style of an international hotel. Hot tea was delivered to the room in the evening. I will come here next time. It is as comfortable and relaxing as at home.
