Our family stayed here for a wedding and we were extremely comfortable and attended to without being overseen! The house is beautifully appointed; all rooms with a king bed, tv , modern large bathrooms and mini refrigerators. Combination locks on all suite and bedroom doors for security were a plus. The two managers covered our delicious breakfasts and we had access to the kitchen at other times (coffee anytime!). Located on a lovely street with a marina nearby made for a quiet stay yet still close enough to the charming town of Bay Shore for meals and shopping. A perfect choice for family reunions and celebrations. We loved it!

The location of the place is truly remarkable, offering a wonderful setting for your stay. The owners are absolutely amazing, providing exceptional service and ensuring your needs are met. The breakfast served is not only delicious but also bursting with delightful flavors that will satisfy your taste buds.The food is crafted with love and you can definitely tell!!

We were attending a family wedding and my sister arranged for the entire house for our family. It had been some time since we were all together and this house was the perfect accommodations for us to relax and enjoy catching up with each other. The staff were both pleasant and efficient. Each mornings breakfast were superbly prepared. They were also attentive to the needs of younger children in our party. The house was tastefully decorated and the bedrooms comfortable and quiet. Wee enjoyed the large outside table and the children loved the heated pool. The morning following the wedding the staff effortlessly prepared a send off brunch for sixty. I cannot say enough nice things about this place and the staff, would absolutely stay here again.

We absolutely loved our stay at The Ocean Bay House! We chose the property for it's proximity to the Fire Island Ferry (a scenic 15-20 min walk) but ended up wanting to spend more time on property instead of on Fire Island! The pool was beautiful and there are so many nice places to sit outdoors. We enjoyed some wine on the front porch and the back outdoor table is a beautiful place to have a meal. Our room was spacious, clean and very nicely decorated. The included breakfast was delicious. It was a perfect Staycation for us and we will definitely be back!

My wife and I stayed here for two nights and were pleasantly surprised about how much we loved this inn! Hosts Elizabeth and Jennifer were stellar hosts and have done a wonderful job taking care of this unique victorian home. This inn served as a way station between going to and from Fire Island to visit our son who was staying with a friends family. This is a terrific option to consider if you need a day before or after to gather oneself before spending time either on Fire Island or exploring nearby Bellport or jetting off onwards to the Hamptons. We stayed on the third floor, Watchogue Creek, which was a great choice to consider. It's nestled in a quiet corner , with Marina views and comfortable bed and well styled bathroom. The breakfast each morning ( 8-10am) consisted of great coffee, delicious omelette, fruit and a great porch to eat outside and enjoy the quiet surroundings. To top it off, an awesome pool and relaxing lounge chairs. It's either a 15 min walk to the ferry terminals or an easy 6 minute LYFT over. All in all, we will be back for sure next Summer and will be mindful of who we recommend this place to- the best kept secret in Bay Shore! Mick - Cara

I can't say enough good things about the Ocean Bay House. We intended to stay for 2 nights and wound up staying for 4 nights!! Jen and Liz are the best. They make sure that everything is perfect for you. From the moment you walk in the door you notice the elegance of the house. The rooms are comfortable, clean and quiet. Jen and Liz prepare and serve the breakfasts - delicious!! Coffee, juice, fruit, a pastry - and then you get to the main part of the breakfast such as omelets, French Toast, etc. The breakfast is different each morning. There's a beautiful porch in front and a large pool in the back. You are able to come and go as if it is your own house. In fact, after four nights here, we started to feel like it actually WAS our house! We LOVE this place and can't wait to come back!

the rooms need a wastebasket and maybe a small desk and chair. the house is beautiful and having the music on all the time was wonderful. Liz is great. would stay there again

The property was beautiful. The location was excellent. Walking distance to the ferry. A short drive to Robert Moses State Park and the lighthouse at Fire Island. The staff was great, Jenn, Jon and Liz. Breakfast 👍
