As a tourist have to pay taxes on hotel stay if you are not purchasing breakfast meal package. Totally unreal, they sucker you into having to make that purchase at about $17 a day to avoid the taxes.

I wanted to give a try to this hotel, even I always use the Crowne Plaza. It ended being a huge mistake. First, my flight got delayed and I ended arriving one day later. When I asked the hotel to extend my reservation one day because I arrived one day late, they said NO and emphasized that I lost one night because I arrived late.
(Last February, a similar situation happened to me with the Crowne Plaza and they understood and gave me a credit back for two nights!)
During my stay in the Marriot, I experienced many issues: They assigned me a room where you could hear everything from the next room. I didn't sleep at all because of the noise. Then, one day the front desk had the nerve to call me because they received complains about me talking too loud at 2:30 p.m.!! When I couldn't sleep during the night because my neighbors were too loud at 3:00 a.m.!! The service in that hotel is ok, but nothing that impressed me. The breakfast in Crowne Plaza is way better and completely free. Instead, in this Marriott hotel, they charge you if you want something extra during breakfast. I had to stay one extra day and when I asked for some discount or credit due to the fact that I lost one night, they denied any type of discount and charged me full price. Bottom line, I will never come back and I don't recommend this hotel. The location is bad, construction around, the main street near the hotel is closed and you have to circle around to get to the hotel. Basically, don't stay here.
