A very pleasant stay, we arrived late at night and the woman on reception was polite and spoke great English. Our room was basic but clean and tidy and that's all we wanted and expected. The hotel was fairly quiet, I have read a few reviews about loud music but we had a room at the front of the hotel only 1 floor up and I can honestly say we heard nothing and got 3 good nights sleep. The hotel is situated quite far away from the main part of Barcelona where many of the tourist locations are but its about a 5 minute walk to the nearest tube station and it's all easy enough to navigate so you are there in no time at all. Every night we stayed we retired back to the hotel about 7 or 8pm we sat in the bar area until about 11pm and had a few relaxing drinks. The two people on the bar a young girl and an older gentleman where absolutely fantastic and I cannot thank them enough for making us feel welcome, they bent over backwards to make us feel at home and served us drinks to our table as well as supplying us with some complimentary nuts which never go a miss after a few beers. All in all it was perfect for our long weekend break. Thank you.

Hotel location is quite good, next to the mall ~ 5 minutes from the L1 subway, 12 minutes from the L5 subway, there are places to eat around, there is a small supermarket ~ of course you need to stroll on the way to the subway. The room is not big ~ very clean ~ cost is quite high ~ 5 stations from Sagrada Familia ~

I had 4 lovely nights at this small hotel. The hotel is modern and very clean with great facilities for food and drinks It is self catering and is set in a very quiet and safe residential area .There is a vibrant shopping area very close by with lots of useful shops , supermarkets, cafes and restaurants. There is a Lidl close by and an Aldi a bit further away. Also not far from the Metro The owner of the hotel is very friendly and we had lots of useful tips off him. He speaks English which is a bonus.

The hotel offers a self catering option in a block of apartments opposite its entrance. We stayed in Apt 600 which was able to sleep 6. The apartment was slightly disappointing in as much as it was quite grubby and there was little thought given to fundamental things like proper mugs, 2 pillows not 1, bath sheets as opposed to rather small bath towels and minor irritations like there being no extractor fan in the kitchen or a safe for valuables. We had to buy basics like j cloths, washing up liquid and kitchen roll, it felt well used and in need of an update, we all agreed that it was ok for a week but you’d be pushing it to spend longer there. It needs a deep clean and the decor is badly in need of updating. On the plus side, there’s a nice supermarket nearby and plenty of nice bars and restaurants. The staff are very friendly and helpful and Barcelona is well worth a visit. There is no balcony or outside space, but there are lots of places to sit outside, which most people seem to do. We would go back to Barcelona but would look for somewhere nearer to the beach next time.

The experience in general it’s okay. We have some problems with the water at the bathrooms and they fixed it very quickly. The kitchen it’s too close and they don’t have many tools so it’s hard to try to cook. You have to know that location it’s too far of main attractions of the city but at least you have a bus stop really close of the hostel. In general it’s like 3.5/5
