Hotel that we booked only as a stopover on arrival from Yogyakarta and with the aim of making an excursion to Kawah Ijen.
Fairly mixed opinion. If the hotel is clean, on the other hand the breakfast will discourage Westerners passing through. No Western breakfast here, only Indonesian with however some not very tasty pastries and viennoiseries.
For the evening meals we ate at Wizzmie right next door, a small fast-food chain that offers delicious fried rice, fried noodles and ravioli, among other things.
As for the swimming pool, we did not test it, it was raining non-stop.
Finally, as for the services provided at the desk, for an excursion to Kawah Ijen you will be given a simple telephone number to call, and for a transfer (to the port for the ferry to Bali), ditto, you will be sent to the Grab application to order transport. In short, the service level is zero!
A hotel that is probably not used to tourists passing through. We will not hold it against it. But know what to expect. It is better for people who are not very resourceful to head to the Aston Banyuwangi hotel.
