Renovated and modern hotel in residential area.
Near Stuttgart (need car).
Town restaurants and shops within walking distance.
Staff were friendly and efficient.

Warm welcome in this village hotel. Spotlessly clean, delicious food with friendly owner and staff. Couldn’t ask for more Breakfast was a highlight with delicious coffee , eggs cooked to specification and wide range of delicious buffet options .

Very nice little town.
The Hotel is nice but the service is ULTRA NICE!!, Formidable good breakfast with fish made scrambled eggs and fried eggs especially for the guest and great big rooms.

Perfectly located if you’re looking for an overnight stop while travelling on the A8 autobahn, this hotel is well appointed with spacious rooms and friendly staff. I don’t think I’ve ever seen such a sparkling clean bathroom! Our room had a large balcony overlooking the pretty gardens. There are plenty of local restaurants and reception were happy to book for us. Great beds and excellent duvets made for a good night’s sleep. Breakfast is a generous buffet with eggs cooked to order. Definitely to be recommended, thanks Hotel Sonnenhalde!

Wonderful room. The cleanest Hotel I've been to! Friendly staff. Great breakfast, and Keto friendly. There is a church that rings its bell on the hour, so remember to close the windows. There is a mini bar and fridge. Overall, very comfortable and clean and friendly.

We chose Landhotel Sonnenhalde for a one night stopover, driving from Salzburg en route to Calais. From the minute we arrived we were made to feel so welcome. Staff/owners are very friendly, eager to help and speak excellent English, which is always greatly appreciated when my German is embarrassingly poor. Our upgraded room (complimentary) was spacious and comfortable. The whole hotel is immaculately clean and quality of linen and towels is good. We ate in the bistro and enjoyed our evening meals very much. Breakfast was plentiful, with everything you could want to start your day, including meats, cheese, fresh fruits, Bircher muesli, yoghurt, breads, pastries, juices, freshly cooked eggs and bacon, etc. Parking is possible in bays directly outside hotel. We would highly recommend this hotel and will certainly return here, if visiting this area. It is the friendliest hotel we’ve stayed in on our two week road trip around France, Germany, Austria and Belgium. It is a lovely place to stay and we will happily return.

Superb service in this small but very clean and cosy hotel. Used it as a stopover to Austrian ski resort and it was a great find. Extensive breakfast was served but no dinner menu. However, hotel reception directed us to a number of local restaurants and having asked for their preferred choice we had a superb meal out. A highly recommended hotel.
